In England, right? I'm still waiting for them to announce their "handful of American shows." I will buy those tickets faster than humanly possible. :shocking:

Edit: Also got Moss' Sub Templum (double LP) in the other day. It's on green and black transparent vinyl. Oh yeah..

Yeah in England, London Troxy. Their first show sold out fast and i thought their second one had too, but then they started selling ground standing tickets on seetickets so i snapped them up. Im not 16 yet so i can't go alone, so im having to drag my Dad along (im paying), he doesn't mind them but y'know.

Ah... It seems the N.A. dates have been posted. I checked. The closest show to me is about sixteen hours away. BUMMER! :sadvaultboy:
That said, I'm on the verge of still wanting to go all that way to see 'em.

Recent things I bought:

From eBay - Ulver's Blake Album for about a fiver.

From Amazon - Immortal - Sons of Northern Darkness and Mayhem - De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas, both on vinyl. Also Damnation by Opeth on CD.

From Tshirtsville - an awesome Nile T-shirt.

Was in a little indie record shop in Aberdeen with my girlfriend earlier today. Managed to pick up Live, Breathe, Build, Believe by The Skints and Before The Fire by Dirty Revolution. The latter I'd never actually heard before and was a bit of a risk-purchase, but on first listening it sounds damn good.

OMG! Foetus finally released 'HIDE' today (check out the sound clips at Foetus.org - omgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgomgogmogmogmogmogmgomgomg!) (It's "symphonic psychedelic rock" - certainly a must for fans of Cardiacs, Levitation, Mr Bungle, etc)

I also picked up the first Grinderman (Nick Cave) album for just £3.79 on Amazon.co.uk ... bargain, eh? :D (dirty blues rock)

Oh, and I bought the Steroid Maximus album, Ectopia, last week. It's very good. ("spy noir" soundtracky music with funky breakbeats)

Billy Joel - The Essential Billy Joel

Nicely done.

Pendulum - All albums

My condolences.

Anyway, I ordered Autechre's new one off amazon, and got given a copy of The Real Thing by Faith No More on vinyl. I already have it on CD, but everything's better on vinyl.

I just re-bought Levitation's "Need for Not" - one of my favourite albums from my teens.

I also picked up "Songs by Cardiacs and Affectionate Friends", which Org Records were selling for just £3 on ebay.

Continuing the Cardiacs theme, I finally joined iTunes once I found out how easy it was to convert tracks to ordinary MP3 (under Preferences, change the import settings to MP3 and then once you've downloaded the tracks, right-click to convert to MP3). Rather than buying their extensive back-catalogue, I downloaded all the songs individually that I didn't already own in order to make this completely awesome best-of compilation - which I based on a mix tape my friend made for me many years ago. At only 79p per track, I could complete my compilation for less than a tenner!

1. The Alphabet Business Concern (Home Of Fadeless Splendour)
2. Two Bites of Cherry
3. Baby Heart Dirt
4. March
5. Goodbye Grace
6. In a City Lining
7. Arnald
8. A Little Man and a House
9. Dog-Like Sparky
10. The Leader of the Starry Skies
11. Hope Day
12. Everything Is Easy
13. Come Back Clammy Lammy
14. The Breakfast Line
15. Manhoo
16. Is This the Life?
17. Fiery Gun Hand
18. Day Is Gone
19. There's Too Many Irons In The Fire
20. The Everso Closely Guarded Line

30 Seconds to Mars - This is War

It's actually good rock with some electronic elements. Something I've been looking for a while.

And WTF does Jared Leto age at all? Seriously....the guy is turning 40 and he looks 20...

Last few albums I bought were The Suburbs by The Arcade Fire, Interpol by Interpol, and Invented by Jimmy Eat World. OLOL Invented was pretty godawful, the other two were good.

Last [album] I bought [was] The Suburbs by The Arcade Fire

I really enjoy (and still enjoy) The Suburbs. It's a great album.

Also, I bought it a while back (I think I even posted about it), but I've finally returned home from college for a weekend and have had access to my record player and so have finally been able to listen to my copy of Moss' Sub Templum. It's incredibly awesome.
