Recharging magic items

How do you recharge magic items that are out of juice?

select them in your inventory and there will be an option to recharge them. Then select the soul gem you want to use.

You'll need a filled soul gem. Either buy one from a shop, or use soul trap on a creature, then kill it. Use the filled soul gem to recharge the weapon. Look at your weapon and find the "recharge" button.

The most common places are the castle court wizards. Or you can get it at the College of Winterhold.

Yup...the court wizard in the very first town past riverwood has it.

Yeah I found mine in Whiterun too.
