Make sure you are not at the vanilla Leyawiin station but further down the east coast at the Topal Bay station (there's a lighthouse and little boats) activate the lamppost on the dock to summon the ghost. :thumbsup:

DarkRider: I'm having an issue with the post MQ save you have on TES Alliance. If I just load it and play things are fine. But when I try to change the character to what I want using what is posted on the download page my game CTDs. I'm trying to use Moonshadow Elves which works fine on a fresh start game. Anybody have any ideas what I could of done wrong?

At which command are you CTD'ing?

Note: Opening those menu's multiple times will cause CTD's. That's the way the vanilla game is.

I load the save after all the DLC quests give their start screens I go into first person view type in viewracemenu then select my race change the hair and face a little change the name and hit done. It's at that point it CTDs.

That's unavoidable really. The race menu is not meant to be used post-start. That's why it tends to crash.

ah man that svcks. Guess I'll play through as the character in the save. Then if I ever feel like finishing the main quest I'll play with my character.

There is another option that allows you to start a new game and complete the main quest. It is called MQSdone over at TESNexus.

I have used this several times with RST and been successful.

I think I ran into a bug, I'm in the tomb with the four orbs on me, but nothing happens. There's an altar at the end of it, but I can't activate it.

I have to say, I'm only a few hours into it but I'm loving the feel of it! I've had an account on tesnexus for a while but not here, so I registered just to tell you this is fantastic so far and probably just gets better. Haven't run into any bugs so far but I'll be sure to drop by if something crops up. Again, thank you very much for your labors on this!

Yeah I also saw that in the readme. I'll try it out. I didn't want to try it first since it added another esp to my list.

Look on the floor for a circular shape with a bas relief bird and click on that. It was hard for me to find too.

Don't hit the "done" button - open the console and save the game, then you can load that save. This is also the way to avoid having all your skills reset after using showracemenu. I use this often to tweak my character's appearance after starting a new game.

Well this looks like an amazing mod, it is clear a huge amount of effort has gone into this.

I have just reinstalled Oblivion and my previous favourite mods in preparation for Skyrim, however I think I will be removing servant of the dawn for this :tongue:

EDIT: I think this is caused by Better Cities. From what I can tell RST uses a lightsource already present in Oblivion.esm and changes it into a persistent ref for the script. But in my LO BC IC is loaded after RST. BC IC disables that source and places it a lot of units below it's original position (I'm guessing TES4Edit's Undelete & Disable function since it's at Z -30000). With the position so far of, it's impossible to meet the conditions (Distance of ~400 units IIRC) for the script to set the stage to 11 and move the quest along. So it's a mod conflict :D So just going to edit the script and set the distance to 35000, should be enough to sort it out :P

I am not very far into the mod, but so far: Excellent work. Very detailed. I like it. However, I ran into a bit of a problem which is either caused by what I like to refer to as "Gamebyro lag" (something like Turbo lag where it takes a moment for the thing to spin up) or a mod conflict.

I'm being sent to the Imperial City with Briun (Spelling?) and the quest is supposed to update when I enter the Talos Plaza district. Stage 11 is set when near aaRCImperialDistanceRef and when Briun is in the same cell as the player. But for some reason this didn't happen. So either it's a mod conflict or I moved away from aaRCImperialDistanceRef too quickly before the engine had a chance to see if I met the conditions. I haven't tried to see if the latter was true. I'm going to make a temp fix for myself and increase the distance a tad bit which will hopefully fix the issue.

Merged01.esp are just some gameplay changes, no cell edits or anything like that
Merged02.esp are some weapons & armors, no cell edits either
VampEye.esp changes vamp eye to my personal taste
MDArmorFix.esp makes some direct changes to MD armor, personal thingy
DC-WeatherPatch.esp fixes weather in DremoraCompanion spaces, for some reason I get normal Cyrodiil weather in the Oblivion Planes added by the mod, probably some weird thing with AN. Not that I care, just fixed it with simple scripting :/

That would be a better solution, yes. I know my way around in the CS, but a lot of others might not, so perhaps it's best to change things like this.

PS: Vorians, I also meant no disrespect towards BC. I know I said "Better Cities causes this issue", but the root cause is not BC of course. I know how you always hate it when people go fingerpointing at BC whenever something is wrong.

This is already changed in v. RC1.0.4 as I needed to centralize and expand the radius for fast travelers, so other players will not need to fix this themselves :thumbsup:
