From the readme: "Fixed an issue with Darkrder's AI: he's a workaholic!"

I've been looking forward to this mod for a long while, and I have a lot of respect for the high bar of quality you hold yourself to. You always speak well of your collaborators, your teasers and photos are of high quality, and I have no doubt the finished product will be worth the wait.

Thanks,

Mini Update: :)

This project is still alive and well for those who may be concerned for her welfare. Things got a bit stagnated by finals and the holidays here but production never stops completely. I'm working on the last 3 scenes for Chapter 3 today and will hopefully have a full update tomorrow or the next here and on the Dimension as per my usual monthly check in. Everyday brings RST closer to completion, I hope her loyal Blades fans are still watching over her from the shadows. :goodjob:

Mini Update: :brokencomputer:

Hail Blades Fans and BGS Forumites,

I have posted a new log entry on the http://darkrder.webs.com. I wish I could say nothing but smooth sailing on the horizon, but unfortunately my primary modding rig has become somewhat disabled as my graphics card climbed into its coffin this morning out of the blue. Until I can replace the parts to fix the rig, RST's progress will be hobbled. I will never lay down and give up with RST even if I have to turn it over to WhoGuru and coach her blind through the quest build, but this blow will definitely impede present progress.

I will be giving the mod in its current state over to RST's primary BETA tester so she can begin testing and collecting feedback for me. I will continue to quest build blind for as long as my rig will run the CS, but it no longer can run the game. Look for updates as this situation unfolds. :)

Cheers,
DarkRider

That's sad. What kind of graphics card did you lose?

Yep sad, but I see this as a temporary setback, no one should see this as an end to the project. The card is a 256MB ATI Radeon X1300 Pro, low profile because my rig has a slim case which is not ideal. It's hard to find decent replacements that will still handle Oblivion.

[EDIT] I do have a lead on a refurb version of the same card that's reasonably priced, I might be able to buy some time with that provided there isn't anything else giving way. Fingers crossed, I will update on the situation.

Well, take a look at http://www.google.com/products?q=NVidia+8600+GT&hl=en&scoring=p for NVidia 8600 GT for comparison at least. And if you're really stuck for cash and need to stay with your same model, then look at http://www.google.com/products?q=ATI+Radeon+X1300+Pro&hl=en&scoring=p for a simple replacement.

Wait a minute. Are you in the UK? If you are, then my helpful links won't be nearly as helpful. Oh, well, in any case, I wish you the best searching for a replacement. I know how it is when money is tight.

I just found a refurb version of my existing Radeon x1300 card so I wouldn't have to replace any other parts like power supply or memory. It'll do for now, but I will likely upgrade my rig tower altogether before long as it's starting to show the wear and tear of being a main modding/webbuilding rig for 3 years. :)

Well, my Redguard Warrior just put an end to the Oblivion crisis today, and he will work in the Fighters Guild until the Blades will be calling for him again.
