...but hopefully without too much of a performance hit? I am running a lot of mods and my frames per second are pretty good, but if a mod to improve NPC graphics is going to be too performance intensive, I might need to pass.

So, two part question:

1) Will my system suffer a performance if I install a higher-res NPC facial (and maybe clothes) texture pack? If so, about how much?

2) If I should be okay using one, can folks suggest a good one, one that is stable and basic (I have QTP, Brumbeck's Sky Pack, Unique Landscapes, All Natural, and Better Cities, so other surroundings look great)?

1) depends on your GPU, really, but the performance hit for just adding hi-rez facial textures is probably not much for a decent setup
2) If you are running all of those, you can install and run any face texture pack you want. What body mod are you using? Regardless of your current setup, I would install Improved Facial Textures. On top of that, I install Enayla's New Face Textures, but if you are using HGEC, there are other hi-rez alternatives that offer matching body and face textures.

Edit: HGEC is one of the newest variants of Exnem's EyeCandy body, but it is much different from the original. It happens to be the most popular female body mod, haha... Anyway, more body textures...
