Long time player of Morrowind, got it around launch on the xbox and bought it for the pc awhile ago. Never really tried any mods for it and now need to know what I'm looking for. Mainly as the topic states, I'm looking for extra missions and new locations. I know there are many great mods that greatly improved on the graphics of the game, but seeing as how I am part of the sad group running rigs with simple integrated graphics, the extra strength required to run them is simply not there. So as for me I'm just looking for new missions, cities, landmasses, factions, and the sort. Preferably content that doesn't go against the actual lore of the game too much, though if the content is cool enough I can let it slide. I am not the bigggest pc gamer due to my rig, so I am still weak in the knowledge of using mods and the such. Is running a mod as simple as say game like Deus Ex when you simply run the patch and there is a shortcut to run the mod? Also, how easy is it to run multiple mods at one time? Thanks for any advice you can give.

For Deus Ex (best game ever, and The Nameless Mod rules ) mission mods are separated from the main game. For Morrowind most mods instead add something to the existing game world, through a plugin file that adds things to it, or alters them. This is very easy, but there should be some guides around. And you can use as many mods as you like, the plugin limit lies around 255.

Tamriel Rebuilt is a popular mod project which intends to build the rest of the Morrowind province around Vvardenfell, with cities, NPCs, quests, and those sort of things. It's still in the works, but it has released 2 'maps' (http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=mods.detail&id=7040) so far which add a landmass to the east of Vvardenfell.
