Recommendation for those with low end PC's wTES:V

So, I have a pretty decent PC, but it can't run Skyrim on Ultra. I found this out when I booted it up and realized that it takes a pretty good rig to run the game on Ultra.

But, there is a console command that I think some people might find very beneficial if you use it. The console command "Teofis" removes all of the glare, grey and silver filter, and screen effects from the game, making it look not black and white like they have it set up for some reason.

This makes the game look far more vibrant, albeit it does remove some of the "coolness" that Skyrim has, but the best thing? It increases your FPS by at least 10+. I now can run the game on Ultra and when I start up, it is lagging a bit. But if I type in "teofis" in the console, that lag goes away. I recommend everyone doing this at least once.

It's meant as a performance boost only, but it DOES make the game look different, and for me, who is a fan of Oblivion and the vibrant colors, I honestly like it better. It adds more color to the screen instead of having the filters over it like Instagram.

Just a thought. Try it out.

I gave it a shot, the result is definitely not for me. I don't think I'd use the word "vibrant" to describe it myself. I currently run on Ultra settings.

If you CAN run on ultra, there really is no reason to do it.

This is more or less for those who want to run with high textures but want smoother fps on a less than ultra rig. And it works great for that.
