Recommended Redguard Literature

In short:
I was interested in trying my hand at some lore-ish monkey-truth, and I am wondering if you guys could give me some recommendations to books on the Imperial Library that are written in the classic, unique Redguard style.

In length:
I was aiming to make a tale describing the conquest of the south-western coastal region, between what is now Taneth and Rihad. As such, it is going to be a 1st Era origin story of the Forbears; that is, a tale of an epic hero, against incredible, magical odds, conquering the new land in more ways than one. If you catch my drift?

The problem I've been having is contextualizing the story into the Redguard language. How should it 'sound'? What kind of beat should the narrative carry? What words should I avoid? Or am I imagining that they have a unique style at all? The closest I can come to identifying it is Lord Vivec's Sword-Meeting With Cyrus the Restless, and perhaps some of the god descriptions. Perhaps what I'm looking for is more of a description of the Redguard---or should I say, Ra Gada/Forebear* mindset---to guide me as I write?

*What was the original Ra Gada tale and how did it reflect them, and how have the Forbears altered the original story throughout their own history of conflict with the Crowns and others?

The Sword-Meeting will probably be the most helpful text.
You might look into some of the books from Daggerfall; there were quite a few relating to the Redguard there.
