Hi all.

I'm a total noob to this site AND game. Been playing for almost a week now. Not very far into the game because of time restrictions, but I love it.

I'm beginning to realize that I spread my SPECIAL attributes too evenly. I put too much into Luck, and Intuition. I would rather have some of those extra points in Strength and Agility, etc.
Without restarting and going back to my birth to play with my "baby-book", is there a way to reassign some of the points that I've dumped into these categories?

I believe that if you are on PC, you can change things mid-game, don't know how much it breaks or not though. You can find bobbleheads in locations that either give you a 10 point boost to your skills, or a 1 point boost to your SPECIAL. There is also one quest where you can raise your Strength or Perception by one point. This particular quest will come to you, no need to search for it.

I'm on PS3. I haven't come across any bobbleheads yet. But I have leveled up and selected the option to raise one of my "SPECIALS" by one point (I put it in strength).

Here's a tip for you for future playthroughs - make a hard save at the point where you're about ready to leave Vault 101. When you do leave the vault, you're given the option to reconfigure everything about your character - name, appearance, tag skills, SPECIAL stats, etc. If you save at this point, you can change anything you want to if you're not happy with your character, and not have to go through the entire birth sequence again.

These's a few threads about regarding SPECIAL stats and getting the perfect character (ie 10 for all and 100 in all skills) and although there really is no need to do that, there is info in them regarding initial character builds.
