someone psychologically screwed up having hallucinations, how original, w/e i sense some action in the next one, that should be good

That was unnecessary. Keep writing man, we'll keep reading.

Just kinda skimmed over that third chapter. I'm about to get some dinner. Your formatting is improving, good job.

Thanks. So far no writers block, which is good. Able to pump out pretty good chapters in a small time frame. I wanna add some action to give a bit of spice for those who are getting bored.

The next chapter will be released soon but the chapter has been split into two parts due to how big the chapter is.

I have a nasty habit of scuttering around the forums, so I never get much a chance to look at everything. I have to say, it's an interesting story, for me personally, the first person story doesnt work for me, but as stated by someone else, we each have our own method. Also, I noticed your story telling seems to improve with each chapter so far. All in all, I'd say you did a good job to earn that B+ :)

Chapter 4: Blood Farms Part 1

The guys were all sleeping on their cots as I laid in mine, feeling nervous about my first patrol. I had only gotten here yesterday and couldn't believe they were going to send me on my first patrol so soon. Ryan had told me that they were simply patrolling for fiends in the area, neutralizing them if necessary. I heard the rustle of the flap being lifted and I peered into the darkness. I heard a girls voice call out, "Dylan? Are you in here?"

I recognized the voice and called out "Violet?"

She came out of the shadows and pushed the hair out of her face.

"How's the squad here Dylan?" asked Violet

I stretched and layed back. "Not hard, especially now that your here."

I looked over and saw that she was smiling.

"Are you going to come with us on patrol tomorrow?" I asked

"Yes I am, try not to get shot up too much"

I laughed. "Why not? I'd get to see you more."

Violet blushed and sat down next to me. "Your not such a bad guy Dylan."

I moved a little closer. "No I'm not. I'm just your average trooper."

We leaned in and was about to kiss when a voice startled us and we jumped apart.

"They invented bathroom's for a reason love birds."

"Who's there?" I demanded.

"Who do you think kid?" replied the voice

I sighed. "Ryan..."

"What?" asked Ryan innocently. "I was just giving you two tips on how to do it right."

"Ryan?" asked Violet.

"You know this guy?" I asked.

Violet wiped her hands on her fatigues. "Yeah, he's a friend of mine."

"Friend? What kind of friend?" I asked

Violet lightly punched my arm. "Not the kind you are thinking of!"

"So she says" Ryan remarks.

"In your dreams pervert"

Violet got up and walked to the door flap. "I will see you tomorrow Dylan."

I cleared my throat. "See you tomorrow."

Violet walked out and shut the flap. I layed back down and pulled the covers up to my neck.

"She's cute isn't she?" asked Ryan.

"Save it buzz killer." I yawned.

Ryan laughed and turned over and started to snore right away. I fell asleep not long after.

"Wake up maggot's!" barked the jail guard.

I sat up and walked to the cell door. "What are we doing today?"

The guard looked at me with an evil sneer. "Whatever we tell you to do boy."

The gates opened and I walked out into the hall. It was day 37 and I only had to serve three more days before I would be put out on re-education release. I walked down the metal stairs in my bare feet and walked to the showers. Other inmates were here as well, mostly for "real" crimes. I looked around as I walked through the shower area till I found an empty stall. I took my shower and dried off.

I walked into the dining hall and got myself some Brahmin stir-fry. I went to sit down when a big hand slapped me on the chest.

"Your food is mine pip-squeak."

I looked up and noticed it was the "Bully" of the jail. His name was Argo and was supposedly a vault dweller before the bombs fell. Argo was a heavily muscled man with hair on just about every part of his body. His eyes looked small on his big face. He had several scars on his arm and a signature strike going down diagonally across his left eye. His hair was short cropped and dirty.

"Get your own food."

"I will, by taking yours."

I clenched my teeth and locked my jaw. I hated people like this. This was just like in school where Billy use to pick on me. Luckily, I found out he was shot down and died while trying to escape. My heart started to beat faster as I knew there was no peaceful way out this. I looked behind me and noticed another goon walking closer and reaching for something in his pocket. Argo stood in front of me and gave me a sneer that almost looked like the one the guard had given me.

I looked for a way out of this situation. The only exit was behind Argo (no suprise there) and he had goons behind me. I gripped the tray tightly trying not to panic.

Argo lunged at me."Ok! I'm done waiting!"

I sidestepped Argo and brought the tray around and slammed it into the back of his head. He grabbed the back of his head and rubbed it.

"You little [censored]!" roared Argo.

Two of the goons ganged up on me grabbing my arms. Argo got up while still rubbing his head and walked over to me.

"Your gonna pay for the bruise pip-squeak."

I spit in his face. "Burn in hell."

Argo then smiled and balled his hand into a fist. I knew what was coming and held my breath. The first hit was in the gut. The wind was knocked out of me and I bent over grabbing my stomach.

"Yeah, but you are going to hell first." laughed Argo.

The goons picked me up once again and kept me still. Argo once again balled up his hand ready to punch me again.

"Argo, what are you doing?"

Argo and the goons looked over to where the voice was. It was one of the guards, looking to me like a angel.

Argo pointed at me. "This kid was confiscating drugs and I was dealing with him for you maddam."

"Oh, is that so Argo?" asked the guard who looked over where I was being held up.

"Let him go, " ordered the guard.`

The goons let me go and I dropped to the ground. The guard came over and kneeled by me.

"You're a brave one aren't you?"

I coughed up a little blood. "Yeah, a national hero."

The guard looked at her belt and pulled out a radio.

"We need a medic over here. Bring stimpacks." The guard looked into my eyes as I slowly started to fade out. "Its going to be okay."

I got up the next day and was going through my locker when Violet came in.

"Are you nervous today?" she asked.

I put on my NCR Vest and Helmet. "Yeah. Are you?"

Violet put her hands into her fatigues. "No, I'm scared"

I went over to Violet and lifted her chin.

"Why are you scared?"

"I may lose you." replied Violet her eyes getting misty.

We barely know each other and I felt this connection with her. I wanted to protect her and keep her safe. I liked her and I believed she liked me.

I smiled and hugged her. "Everything will be fine. Just a patrol"

She blushed and walked out the tent.

"That was emotional. I'm about to cry" Ryan yawned as he woke up.

I spinned around and pointed at Ryan. "You blew my chance last night!"

Ryan threw his hands into the air. "Dont blame me for your slowness!"

I picked up my Service Rifle and holstered it. I bent over and picked up 6 magazines of ammo.

"I will meet you outside Ryan."

"Alright."

I walked outside and met up with the rest of the group. I looked around and noticed Violet was with some other medics counting medical supplies. Violet looked up and frowned.

"Sup Dylan!" as a hand grabbed me by the shoulders.

I turned around and noticed it was Frank. "Hey Frank. How are you doing?"

"Pretty good, just waiting for us to move out."

Before I had a chance to say another word, Ryan showed up wearing all his gear.

"Time for us to move out."

Hey everyone, I got a new computer! Sadly, I wont be continuing this because I think the support (Fuel) is low so, am sorry for those who liked it but the support or the drive for this vanished. Maybe if support goes up enough I will finish it but for now, its canceled and dead.

Your going to quit, because you got low support? That's the one thing I don't like, people quitting cause they don't have enough people replying. You've had a decent amount, why don't you click on my sig; The Weston Chronicles. A super long story, he hardly ever gets support(save maybe me) and he has yet to give up on it. Galen, Maharg,...Even Infantry, little to no support and there still trucking. But if you want to give up, then I completely understand, just makes me a little disappointed.

I have to focus on High School and relationships. I am also dealing with Clan business and all of this has been keeping me tied up. Maybe I will start it up again after a bit.

Chapter 4: Blood Farms Part 2

The loose debris from the road crunched under my feet as the squad walked along the Eastern road towards the NCR Farms. In the distance, several men and women were turning the soil and planting new life.

Ahead, Ryan slowed down beside me and looked at my hands.

"Hey Dylan, are you white knuckling the weapon?"
"No, Why?"
"Well, this is your first patrol. I would suspect you to be nervous."
"Cant be nervous if I have 3-4 friends all armed to the teeth watching my back."

Ryan chuckled a bit and looked over towards Violet.

"Seriously, You got to tap that. She is stunning for her age."
"That is inappropriate Ryan. I respect her and her...body."
"Oh please Dylan, this is the NCR not the white house."

I looked at him with a curious look.

"What is the White House?"

Ryan stopped in his tracks. He must of made himself loud some how as everyone stopped and looked back.

"You don't know what the White House is?"
"No, I don't think so. That is why am asking you."
"Dylan, the Whi-"
"We got a group heading this way Ryan!" Yelled Frank

Ryan looked across the farms towards the horizon. The group in the distance looked like they were running. Ryan grinned and pulled out a pair of binoculars. I raised my M16 a bit and flicked off the safety, waiting for something.

"Fiends, big group, raiding party most likely" Spoke Ryan as he looked into the binoculars

Ryan lowered his binoculars and turned and faced us.

"Dylan, take cover behind that Metal pipe over there. Violet, you head over to that house and stay hidden. Frank, go to that ditch and get low, get ready to fire. Ryan continued to issue some commands to the rest of the group while walking. Once done, he turned around facing us.

"Copy?" he asked.

"Copy." I replied as did everyone else.

I turned and jogged over the metal pipe and crouched down, balancing the M16 on the metal pipe and my shoulder. I double checked the safety to make sure I had it off still and checked my belt to make sure I was good.

The radio on my hip came alive for the first time and I heard Ryan and Frank.

"Frank, when they get to the 100 Yard line, open up, try to hit who you think the leader is."
"Copy."

Violets voice eventually came on. "Hey Ryan, I see another group, coming from the greenhouses."

After some silence, Ryan's voice came on, with a bit of hesitation. "Alright...Dylan hold your position, Frank, your good as well, I don't think we need to do any re-arrangements.

After some silence, I heard what sounded like a ping off the metal pipe.

Ryan's voice came on somewhat concerned. "Are they hitting us with...golf balls?"

To be continued.

Alright, I am back and continuing Red Dawn. I could not get my Editor as they are currently asleep. I will try to do chapters but I got a project in HS to do and tons of homework. So, please comment and rate. I will see you soon! :D
