Depends on where you pre-ordered from. If its from GameStop, make sure they printed out the code on the receipt or its on the box before leaving the store.

Im sure if you wanted multiple people could get wagons with gatling guns, and anything else needed.
If I was in agroup in free roam can we meet other groups and fight them, because that would be fun, annoying too because it would be like an mmo but fun to have rival gangs fighting eachother.

I think that's how free roam works. Or the competitive mode at least.

You can probably get some Gatling Guns on wagons like this isnt my name said, but I think the cannons are strapped to where they are? Not sure, but it'd kinda be hard to move them off towers. Though, you always could just bring the Gatling guns too the Cannon, and give support?... Wonder if they'll have trenches too? Or something similar? :gun:

I thought free roam was just allowing you to play normaly, just with a group, and to me competative looked like a free for all. Whatever it is, we will find out in a few days.

I think in competitive, that's where you can play the capture the flag, and the other multiplayer game matches. Free Roam, you just go about doing whatever you want. Maybe I've got it wrong though? I can't remember.

Just re watched free roam, you fight others and do what you want, should be fun.

Yeah, that's what I thought it was. And competitive, was just people playing team death match, capture the flag, etc.

I found the control scheme:


Left anolog: Movement(probably click for crouch)
Right anolog: Camera (press down for Dead Eye)
Up: Whistle for horse
Left Bumper: Weapon Wheel
Right Bumper: Attach to cover
Left Trigger: Aim
Right Trigger: Shoot
A: Run (Hold to sprint, unlimited stamina)
Y: Mount Horse
X: Jump/Climb
B: Manual Reload

And left, right, and down d-pad are for changing weapon quickly, instead of using the wheel.

NOTE: These are not official, but there's a good chance they are.

Yeah, I guess I am. I've gotten hyped over alot of games, and I just a feeling that this game will be all it's hyped up to be, without one doubt.

The controls just seem like the ones for GTA4 on 360, and of course the similar layout of the PS3 controller.

Good, they decided to stop trying to give us all Carpal-Tunnel Syndrome by making us repeatedly tap A to make Niko Marston run.

And yeah, Free Roam means no story mode like in single player, but you can do pretty much everything else, just with 15 of your buddies. Competitive is you go into controlled, competitive games like deathmatch, capture the flag, probably horse racing, etc.

Also, I'm probably going to be playing some multiplayer within the first few days, but I think we should set up a multiplayer day on the 22nd or 23rd or something. That way its a weekend, all of our EU players will be able to get the game by then, and we can all play together.
