Just found out there's no Lasso in multiplayer, not even in freeroam! :sad:

But in all seriousness, that is relatively disappointing, but I am not going to let that diminish the awesomeness of the game as a whole.

I would be really pissed off as well. Another three days of waiting would possibly kill me at this point.

Hey, it could be worse. The Australian release for Silent Hill: Shattered Memories was only the other week, which was over a month after Europe and almost three months after America. I feel sorry for SH fans around here!

Preordered it online at GAME so hopefully it will arrive either on the 21st or 20th... don't think it comes with any preorder bonus, though it's $10/20 cheaper than most other places.

Can I be added to the (rather lonely) PSN list, my handle is "loinbread".

I think the process of synchronising up to 16(?) different people using lassos in addition to everything else going on might be too taxing

I dont think not having a lasso is a big deal IMO. I mostly play single player with Rockstar games anyway. This game, however, may change that especially with the free co-op packs coming out in June.

I don't think it's all that much of a disappointment. I mean, it would be kind of funny to see two people using the lasso and try lassoing each other at the same time. But with the way the MP is set up, I don't see much use for it unless they plan on making a part where you challenge your friends to a lasso contest. (Who could lasso the most cows, etc. in a certain amount of time.)

SP is why I'm mainly going for it. And MP only interests me in the free roam, but I don't plan on spending much time in MP rounding people up with rope. I'm more inclined on shooting them down while they try stealing my gold or something. :toughninja:

Wow, I completely forgot about this game. I'll see if I can get some quick cash to buy it. Is this one of hose games where if you buy it used you don't get the DLC for free, like Mass Effect 2?

Rockstar says that they will release free Co-Op DLC in june free with other planned packs. No where did i see a code thing. its just an EA thing.

I tried playing Gun again, to get in the mood and all, but the graphics hurt my eyes

svcks to be from the newer generation of gaming, where if it's not Hi-Res it's annoying as hell.

But I loved Gun, although the freeroam could have been better, and I love the GTA games, especially the freeroam, and since this game is supposed to be similar to Gun, it should be awesome.

Yeah, there's this western on at the weekend called 3:10 to Yuma, with christian bale and russell crowe. Havent seen it before and without the release of RDR, i probably wouldnt look twice at it. Looks good tho.

EDIT: Are you really from Texas? I guess you learn all this western stuff in history

I love Texas history. It was my favorite class. Had alot of fun projects and all tge history was interesting.
