I've decided to have a crack at 100%. Not sure if I'll manage it though :sadvaultboy:

Not that I know of. My newspaper is actually kind of glitched. I have one chance to read the updated newspaper when I buy it. After that, if I go to my inventory and try to read it, it always shows the very first edition I bought at the beginning of the game instead of the latest edition I bought.

Also, you really didn't miss a whole lot. Aside from references to your actions throughout the MQ, there are some ads and other unrelated stories. Some of them are quite funny though.

It's not a glitch, you're just not flipping through them properly. If you go to your inventory, select the newspaper, there should be on your screen, showing you how to flip through the newspapers from the beginning to the last one. I think you flip through them with the little thumb toggle?

Oh, no way? I'll have to try that whenever I play again.

Once you complete the challenges the rest is smooth sailing. =)

All I've got left are the challenges. I'm having real trouble with Sharpshooter Rank 10 though. Problem is, I can't use Dead Eye because every time I enter Dead Eye it reloads my weapon (and you can't do that). So I just have to try and disarm six people without changing weapons or reloading and without using Dead Eye. Oh, and another thing that's making it hard: often times I'll shoot someone in the hand/arm to disarm them, but it kills them as well, and so it doesn't count as a disarm.

You could try entering Dead Eye with a fully loaded gun and then line up six shots hitting the gun itself rather than the hands/arms of your enemies, should work as it won't releoad in the middle of deadeye.

Yea I went to Black Water and did it,I took out the Evans Repeater and would shoot the barrel of the guns. Also if they pull out a rifle you can disarm them twice after they pull out their pistol.

Yeah, but the problem there is getting six people all within range of one Dead Eye meter without being shot down in a hail of bullets in half a second.

Thanks! I'll try this next time I play the game.

Edit: Completed the challenge. The thing that made it easier to do was emptying out all the ammo except for one clip. This made me able to use Dead Eye for every disarm without the game automatically reloading my weapon upon entering Dead Eye.

Spent a good hour on them today. The first one I completed I got half the achievements... at least it felt that way. It was fun, some were more difficult. I'm not sure what I was doing as I was just using a sniper rifle to kill far off enemies. If you do this, at least one person needs one... trust me.

Just got finished with a play through of Ammunition (or whatever it's called) where the Mexican Army attacks, and you have to take out their cannons and other stuff. Played with a friend and some random people online. Pretty fun I do have to say. Kind revitalizes the MP, but for how long?

I entered Dead Eye multiple times on that challenge and still got it. I don't think it matters. I dunno.

Oh.. Well, that's deceiving then, because it says without reloading, and every time you enter Dead Eye it reloads your weapon. I suppose it meant with out you manually reloading the weapon of something.

I was on expert aiming too. I don't think its possible to do with casual cause it just auto goes to the guys gut and you gotta mess around and reaim at his hand and by the time you got a good shot your dead eye ran out. :sadvaultboy:

That's how I completed the challenge. I exploited the fact that I can reload with Dead Eye and it wouldn't reset the counter.

hard

surprisingly difficult, my friends and I had a very hard time with them

I'm also annoyed now because on Multiplayer jack-asses have discovered stand-bying

and here I thought I'd left that behind on the first Saint's Row

Discovered what ?

stand-bying

it's when a player exploits their LIVE connection so they appear invisible to other players and are invulnerable to damage. From there they'll beat you with their fists and you'll have no idea how you're dying

worst of all it won't tell you who killed you, it'll just say "Hagashager has Died" so you can't report them
the worst match so far had EVERYONE on both teams invisible
