Red Dead Redemption #16

You think that's bad, here's what a big, fat bounty target said on my horse...

"You're not bad looking, maybe we can work something out?"

*Stops horse, pulls gun*

Did you see the post I had about a guy asking if I would let him go for a kiss, then saying he would piss in my eye.
That dude had some [censored] up fetishes.

Yeah, I've stopped taking their crap, when I say shut up on my horse, I mean it. Last time some guy annoyed me too much I just stopped the horse, pulled him down and left him in the middle of nowehere :P

Well, I got my stallion back. Then again, I had to pay $750 for it at the general store...but it's worth it :P.

At least now I can get it again if I ever lose it.

 I know what I'm doing next time I play! :P

Hmm, I wonder if bait will work in the middle of Armadillo...I could hide on a rooftop and watch the citizens get mauled by Cougars :P

Or more likely, rabbits and deer.

It's not that hard to catch a stallion, ride around armadillo looking for packs of wild horses and there's a chance a stallion might be there. I got one my first try after I lost mine

I don't think you can put bait out in towns? I'll have to try that when I get off work though. Maybe put it on the outskirts of Blackwater or something?

Ah well, I'd still rather have the license to it so that I can get it again whenever I want, especially considering I just got to Mexico and needed a good horse and could just summon it at the shore.

EDIT: Nevermind. I think this may have been one of my stupider questions. :P

Actually, I'm going to ask it, just a little differently.

As you progress further into the game, do enemies start using more powerful guns? I'm only half way through Mexico, but I don't really understand how ammo drops work yet. Do you need to have a kind of gun for enemies to drop that type of ammo? (ie. you must have a repeater to drop repeater ammo) or do enemies just use more powerful guns and drop the ammo as you progress through the game? Same question for chest loot.

Why does everyone have to be such a [censored] in Free Roam? As soon as you spawn, you have someone try to blow your head off and when you kill them they scream "Bloody Murder" and get their whole posse to gang up on you. 90% of the time it's the whiny little twelve year-olds who do it, and then get their other whiny twelve year-old friends to gang up on you.
And don't get me started on Gang Shootout.

I've found that most of the people on RDR are whiney little twelve year olds

I seriously have yet to meet anyone who doesn't appear to be under the age of 14

I quit online play a long time ago, beat the single player and am gradually playing through it again, though whether I'll finish it a second time through is left to be seen

Just quit, I have lost any intention/rge to play MP because the people just piss me off so much I may go back to Sp eventually but never back to multiplayer, I blame the parents who buy 18+ games for 12 yearr old kids, bet then they throw a [censored] fit and blame the devs when they find out there is swearing/violence/six.

MP is getting boring anyway. I actually love when they do come after me because it gives me something to do other than grinding gang hideouts.

Looks like the old west invented hydraulics first.

That was extremely hilarious. Why don't I ever get any glitches that people report? <_<

Because half the time they happen, (from what I've heard) the game freezes up. So I'm rather glad these don't happen to me. It's kinda like when someone falls or trips, and you laugh, but it's not funny when it happens to you. ME= :user: FOOL= :brokencomputer: ME=

azaban I miss your avatar. :(

I haven't touched this game for a while, anyone want to play this weekend?

I miss my avatar too. But a mod removed it due to it apparently being over the size limit. (Limit is 100kb or something and mine was about 137 or so.) What makes me even sadder is I'm pretty sure my original one is over the size limit too.

That is nightmare inducing.

Damn, I just ran into the most annoying bug ever in SP.

I was at the level in Mexico where
Spoiler
you're required to play Texas Hold 'Em, and the German accuses you of cheating.
After taking him out in a duel, his partner came up with the hostage, and I had to take him out without killing her. I would shoot him in the head and she'd stumble off to the side, but for some reason it would keep failing me. Finally what I did was I fired a random shot off in the air, and the mission let me continue. I then took him out in Dead Eye normal and then took out his cronies.

Quite annoying.

Well, besides getting a posse together with the people from here I think I am done with the game. It svcks too because I had such high hopes for the SP. It just didn't live up to its potential or my expectations.

I've been trying to get on multiplayer for a while now but it just won't connect me to it. Really wanted to finish those achievements.

Just wondering, you know the girl you hear talking to the priest in the intro, can you play her in Multiplayer?

I think her name is Jenny, she's got a side quest about God.

Yeah, MP is dead to me and SP just dried up with nothing to do after the story, combined with little replay value, its a good game but I cant play it now, Maybe go back to it in a month or 2 and it will be fun again.

I haven't actually been on it since I tried to get on with you folk, I was fairly bored with the game then, now I've completely lost interest. Wasn't worth the money to me, I didn't enjoy the story (other than the ending) and although the gameplay is good, it's not enough.
