Red dot sights, ACOG sights?

Post » Wed Oct 20, 2010 4:53 am

In Fallout 3 it was fun exploring the wastes but i mean the weapons even with sights to me werent useful . If iron sights are going to be feature in FNV should the designers make customizable camos, silencers, even Red dots it would the make the game more of an FPS so i dont know if it will get accepted or even thought about but it would be a nice feature in the game.

Red sights...Camo...
You are aware Fallout New Vegas isn't a military campaign, right?

Seriously though, most people on here won't accept things likes laser sights because it's not "50's" style. I really don't care, though. And plus, there's gonna be PC mods for it eventually.

Yea but if the they do only have red dots and camos on PC dont you think Console users are gonna feel it bit sad or something i mean the mods in F3 are awesome i have the game for 360 and my friend has it for PC his game is much better he has mods for a m16, MW2 armor, and loads of stuff and i whenever i see him playing F3 it just looks badass so if they dont have RD in the console versions to some console users might be mad or sad

No, believe me, as an avid proponent of the Console...I myself do not feel the need to add military BDU's and whatever that crap is they were in the armed services to a post-nuclear-apocalypse RPG. I would not weep if it was strictly some PC thing.
Plus...I have VATS, and Iron Sights...And a reticle for that matter...I don't need a damn red dot.

...Yes...That makes perfect sense. Red Dot sights and Camo are a logical next step after the introduction of Extra Clips...
...That still doesn't change the fact that this is not a Military Campaign setting, and that stuff can rightfully stay where it belongs in this forum dwellers humble and honest opinion.

What does red dot sights and camo have to do with it being a military campaign setting im saying it would be a good feature theres alot of rpgs that feature a much more deeper customization in weapons armor and the character. Even if this isnt an FPS most people play in the first person view in F3 most videos i see on youtube whether its a walkthrough or just people messing around more than half the time its always in First Person

Hey can fallout also have sweet death match and capture the flag? And I want ranks!!!!1!1!1ONE11! And I haz a tank? And urban camo power armor? Dude seriously just because some PC guys that play call of duty too much modded their fallout does not mean it needs to be in the console version too. If it's a big deal to you get a PC and get mods.

Why not a deeper customization in junk built armor? Or more variety in power armors? Or some interesting melee weapons. How does acog and red dot equal DEEPER to you? I mean Rainbow six vegas and call of duty don't really have a very deep system... but maybe you should replay those games because it sounds like it's more your speed. Fallout is about post nuclear survival and most of the tech is supposed to be from the 50s. So be happy there is even assault rifles... and military styles were basically limited to drab olive green fatigues. So how does your request make sense? tell me that.

Only things that seem right in the Fallout Universe are silencers, scopes, and extended mags. Nuff said...
