Reddit AMA with original creator of Fallout tomorrow

Post » Sat Nov 22, 2014 6:40 am

Hey guys! Got mod permission to post this. I work for indie game dev WhiteMoon Dreams on the project WARMACHINE: Tactics. Our lead designer here is Scott Campbell, who was one of the lead designers on the original Fallout games at Interplay and was also responsible for the creation of the majority of the Fallout universe (storyline/world building/event concepting).

I don't have permission to post links, but you can find his info on MobyGames under "R Scott Campbell"

We will be hosting a Reddit AMA (ask me anything) with him and Rusty Buchert, our producer, who also worked at Interplay as well as Sony on projects like Flower, flOw, Everyday Shooter, Star Trek Starfleet Academy and a ton of other stuff.

They've got about 50 years of game development experience between them and will be answering questions about past and current projects and the games industry as a whole.

We will be posting the thread at 12noon PST tomorrow in the /r/IAmA subreddit and Scott and Rusty will be answering questions from 2pm-5pm PST, longer if there is demand.

Please come by and ask some questions, it's a chance to get some inside knowledge about the creation of one of the best franchises of all time!

I moved this the Series section as it has the most activity right now.

This sounds really cool and I encourage people to view this, or ask questions. It's always good to get a game developers take on things. Helps us to understand how and why games are what they are.
