"Redguard DLC" could possibly be a pirate themed DLC

Post » Fri Mar 15, 2013 5:08 am

Think about it, Redguards have been known to be privateers. There isn't much to do with water now in Skyrim, and I can't see us going a part of Hammerfell in a DLC unless it's Orsinium, but why would it be called Redguard than? On top of that, the Sea of Ghosts is just up on the top of the map... taunting...

I still doubt that Redguard is even a skyrim DLC.

I'd be totally hip to add Master Pirate to my main characters long list of official titles.

Let's for all intents in purpose, say it is, unless they are going to make an HD remake of Redguard for the XBLA, Steam, and PSN.

Hmm...Even in HD, I don't know if you can make that game look good. I hear the gameplay was atrocious too.

If so, then a pirate DLC could fit I suppose. Aren't redguards suppose to be good sailers or something? Or am I confusing them with another race? I heard they have port cities.

Yes, they are. The old game was based around pirates too, I believe.

that wouldn't be a good move, since AC III recently mastered the arts of a pirate themed DLC.
whatever beth will do, i don't think they will try to mimic their closest competition. And seeing how AC III added ace Naval combat in the main campaign allready, i doubt beth's development team decided to go in that direction after Dragonborn (which was released after AC III)

Well, Skyrim has got great connections with the northern seas, and that should be used to go to other provinces (like we did on Dragonborn to Solstheim). Only cyrodill can't be visited by sailing.
