Somebody get the clip of Darth Vader saying "noooo" in episode III. Because that's all I have to say.

The Nords have the Dragonborn and at the very least two loyal dragons and one mind controlled dragon. Then there's maybe Paarthurnax and his dudes.

Thanks. And yeah, that's awesome.
No, I don't think so. Ysgramor is a benevolent man, capable of doing no wrong.

Sorry, the joke was right there. I had to. Like I said, no willpower. Continue the topic though, I'm done joking.

Assuming the Dragonborn bothers to get involved (and side with the Nords) at all. He/She might just take a jaunt over Akavir or Atmora, or some other part of Nirn and let Tamriel fend for itself.

I would imagine. I don't know. I saw the opportunity for a joke, and I took it.

It doesn't belong in the discussion regardless. The player character is a wildcard. It can not be used to justify anything relating to future possible scenarios.

The main character's destiny is to join with Talos and part of doing that is putting the Elves in their place. A few bullet points:

-Lorkhan is observed to put his entirety into his avatars. Shor is missing from his hall.

-Shor ordered the hall closed and it has been so for a very long time. How do we know this? Because High King Torygg has yet to be allowed across the Whalebone Bridge and his death is long before Alduin's return.

-Tiber Septim was a Shezzarine and the ghost of Old Hroldan recognizes you as Hjalti.

-The PC is the Last Dragonborn. Consider that there is only one letter left to fulfill Lorkhan's name:
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Shezarrine
  • When asked about Lorkhan and his avatars, developer Michael Kirkbride presented the following list. All items of the list are names, surnames, pseudonyms, or titles of people (notably http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Tiber_Septim) suspected to be a part of the enantiomorphic "Oversoul" that is believed by some to constitute the deity known as http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Talos.http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Shezarrine#cite_note-WWYDB-10http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Shezarrine#cite_note-11
  • 1. Wulfharth L
  • 2. Hjalti O
  • 3. Ysmir R
  • 4. Talos K
  • 5. Arctus H
  • 6. Septim A
  • N
-Characters who become part of Talos replicate Lorkhan's life. We just so happen to be doing this right now.

There's more, but I forgot the rest, but it's like 4:41 am so whatevs.

Oh, you can sit in Shor's throne. TES usually doesn't let you sit in godly thrones unless you have a good reason for doing so.

Still doesn't mean the Dragonborn has to side with the Nords. There are probably factions of Imperials, Bretons, Redguard, Dunmer, Argonian, Khajiit, Bosmer, and even Altmer that the Dragonborn could side with and just as easily fulfill this destiny. Hell, they could probably just create their own faction and go that way.

There's too many paths to reach this destination for you to just assume that the Nords will have the backing of the Dragonborn, so you shouldn't be trying to use it as a given.

I'm not saying Stormcloaks. Just saying Nords because, well, the game is centered around them. Also, the throat of the world is one of the last towers.

The Shezzarine is the hero of all mankind, though. You're right in that much.
