I'm looking to play a Redguard Spellsword after destroying my last character from exploiting the Oghma Infinium.

I'm planning on using light armor, one handed, and destruction in the offhand.

1. Would you rather suggest heavy armor than light armor, cause no good light armor exists. Suggestions? Or use no armor, Alik'r Clothes?
2. I'm not using a shield, but I will block when out of mana, so would it be wise to invest in block perks or not?
3. I'm looking to use the Scimitar, how many are in game? I plan on getting newer ones to enchant them as my enchanting skill increases.

If you are going to be raiding, I suggest Light Armor.

Block with a weapon perhaps? 1 perk in the first set, then go toward the left for the bashing.

I believe only 3 unique Scimitar's exist. Two are in the Dragonborn DLC and the other one is part of the Dark Brotherhood questline.
