I have played Skyrim since it first started. Many different characters from different races. Mostly warrior/mage combos.

I am at Level 30 with a current Redguard warrior who also uses magic. Have enchanted glass armor. And, I am being hammered

by all kinds of enemies--even bears. Can't figure it out. In Oblivion, Reguard were tough! Gonna go back to my Elves, if this keeps up.

Any ideas why a Redguard would be so wimpy? Any suggestions appreciated, because it is probably my fault.

there really is no racial benefits to be honest. If you put the same perks into a redguard as you did with a nord, the outcome is virtually the same.

mages are just squishy things though... and that's why I hardly play one.
