"Redoing" Oh My Papa

Post » Sun Dec 11, 2011 4:16 pm

Basically, I killed Papa Kahn at the wrong time so the Great Khans never allied with the NCR. But that mission is long gone and I'm just about ready for Eureka! So I'd like to know if there's a set of console commands that will set the Great Khans as NCR allies (joining the fight at Hoover Dam, NCR ending, etc). Thanks!

Anyone? I've managed to convince everyone to side against the Legion but I can't respawn Papa Khan and I can't report back to the NCR without beginning the Hoover Dam conflict. Does NOONE know if there's a simple console command to set whatever variable determines whether the Great Khans fight with NCR to positive?

Also, where exactly do you meet the Khans at Hoover Dam?

Please help.

Bump? Sorry if this is annoying anyone, but somebody must at least be able to tell me when during Eureka! you're supposed to meet up with the Khans.

Also, semi-related anybody know why I can't spawn Papa Khan? I'm using the BaseId from The Vault and the console says it's invalid.

Did you ever bother to look up the console section in the vault wiki?

resetquest 00140c3a
*should reset the Oh My Papa quest, however I hear that reseting quests often doesn't work right.

Also you be using his reference ID 00140e54.

Base ID is the template for the object while reference ID is the exact object.

so prid 00140e54 will lock onto his reference ID. Then do the following commands.
resurrect
disable
enable

These will reset his AI.(and clear up any missing limbs)
moveto player will then bring Papa to you, so be standing hin his house when you do this,.

I will say this the Khans allying with the NCR is only a minor improvement over there extermination. There better off allying witih no body..

Thanks, I didn't mean to annoy anyone, it's just that I'm not well equipped to figure this stuff out and I was hoping someone could help me. I assume I'll be able to speak to Moore without starting the final battle, but otherwise I hope I can find a work around.

And, in case anybody's wondering, I'd rather have the Khan's decimated in the name of the NCR than building some barbarous empire in the North West.

It seems I can't go back and redo the quest at this point, there are just too many problems when i try resetting it and respawning the necessary characters.

So at this point, my questions is: What is the variable that determines whether or not the Great Khans are allied with the NCR, and how can I change it through console commands? Shouldn't there be a "setobjectivecompleted" command that will allow them to show up at Hoover Dam?
