yes, chaka. the skybox will be in the release version. the round shape version have some issue, i will use the cube version.

a little creature

about these creature, i don't think it well fit this mod, so they maybe not included. at least the "bad weather" creature will be removed.

I planed to expand the town to make it less cube shape. intend to add a higher street with houses at the left wall eare where can view the whole town.

now, i 'm in process to make a campion npc, allready used the grumy's campion 3.1 modderresource, rename some id to fit my own, potion save script has been add. removed the level script, i will make my own one.
at the meantime , i'm thinking about how to make her unique. yes, i wish her have unique functions and dialouges at different locations. here is what i think so far:

background
she is a nord , female, hunter[well at bow and wild survival knowlage]. her name is Amelia. her personality is hard heart. she is sick[illness], catched a unknown disease, depression, live alone. the disease make her weak, but also gave some gift.....i'm not intend to add a unique head for her, because i use the plugueless headreplacer[VVI] mod and feel that's enough.

fuctions
she will have the base fuctions introduced by campion 3.1 modderresource, such as combat weapon style, follow ect.......
let's talk about something new, something unique. i'm intend to make she can active some unique power each day or anytime if she have some thing in her inventory. others haven't thought out, you may give some ideas.

Nikka made some update skybox resource. now player can see the sky, cloud, sun, both day and night.
I tried it recently, here is how it turned out.

It seems the snowy hill doesn't right fit this town, i prefere the hills from my earlier screenshot.
I'm going to add the earlier hills texture to nikka's new mesh. I hope i can done it well as nikka.

and about i wanted to make a wildness in indoor cell [my earlier idea months ago which i gave up later], now it seems can be done. because a new tool that can output outdoor cell landscape in esp file as a mesh, this tool enable a lot modding ability, it make beautifull and complex indoor landscape mod can be done. i will try it later.

I thought I gave you more than just the snowy type mountain though. Doesnt any of the others work for you?

enlarged and modified the town by about 5%, add a small old ruin there.

note the 3 stone, one higher than other, other higher than another? yes, if your jump ability is high enough, you may jump from one to another then have a good view like this screenshot.

about the partner I said ealier, if I add unique greetings to she, she may need tribunal to run perfectly. do you care tribunal dependence add to this mod? persionally, I don't like add that.

at the very beginning, I made that little creature intend to replace creature x 's row worm for personall use. later, i thought it may fit some sort of old tomb underground envirment.

made new animation for the partner npc. by using the morrowind Animation Kit pick up some anim from some anim modderresource and merge to one single file. idle4 is sit, idle5 is eat, idle6 is drink, idle7 is fall to sleep, idle8 is sleeping, idle9 is wake up.

I'm thinking about where this town placed.

offland[like tribunal] ? or add it to mainland? or add it to bloodmoon land?

I think bloodmoon land are too snowy. i thought about use this replace the skaal village, but the snowy envirment is not well fit this mod. then I think the sheogorad land may fit after some changes. I played ingame to see where it can set up on, but none found. how about set in Ald Redaynia ? if anyone have some ideas , show me.

I'm allmost boring about making indoor cells, if anyone want make this mod together with me and like to make indoor cells , welcome.

Update

Linked the town to the stock game world.

There is a ship at dagon fel named "Arrow".
Add one npc in the cabin, act as captain. only she can take you to my town.
Add travel service fuction to one guard at south gate of my town. only he can take you back to stock game world [dagon fel dock].

only that "cabin" cell be changed.
Havn't changed the dagon fel cell, so it will compatility with any mod that changed dagon fel.

Nice town, however, you should get someone to fix any spelling errors you throw into that mod. It'd really ruin the experience to enter the town, start talking to someone, and get a load of spelling/grammar errors thrown at you.
Other than that, I really like it :thumbsup:

add a new topic "the situation here", once click, she will say something about current cell[have diffenrent words at different cell]. for example if she is at this town, she may say "this is my hometown....", if she is at cell she doesn't "know", she may say "I have no word about this place."

try to add unique things to her, such as when in outdoor cell near night time, she may remind you wether "camp here" or "go to nearest settlement."

any ideas ? what functions you want to see a companion have ?

and about npc

anyone want to be an npc here may post your char and dialouge[what you want to say, i will make them as dialouge]. no beast\elve\orc race allowed.

Enjoyed looking at all the progress shots Sphinx - um where did you get that great sitting animation from? Do your NPC's sit down, stand up and move around?

RX31's modderresource. you may find it on PES site.

they do move around, but can not sit down/stand up as oblivion npc. I always think about some workaround to enhance the AI feeling. as you may see in earlier screenshot , before i use sitting pant to sim the sit pose. recenntly i tried to use animation instead. at the meantime I can't gurantee anything, but I do my best.

and about the total progress, the outdoor area allmost complete, just need to add some detail. indoor cells make things go slowly. because I want add schedule to npcs, I can't start to make it untill indoor cells done. so, after half a year since the first post, I must say this mod still far from complete. it even didn't reached a fully playable stage.

Glad to see you like this mod.

Thanks for that Sphinx, I guess if you use schedules those who are sitting down can be seen up and walking at a another time? - while it sounds like you still have some work to do on the mod it sounds very atmospheric and I'm looking forward to seeing more posts/pics on how it develops. :)

making major fuctional place. add an open raw supply shop to the street.

it role as a place sell log [for home fire], raw food [for cook], flour [for bread]. will put a farmer npc act as the shopkeeper. havn't decide whether make this NOM compatibly. all for eyecandy, that means the seller willn't actually sell flour. ^_^

making a arena indoor area by edit the vivec arena mesh. add glow map to roof, remove something for a clear view. the texture of the roof is from a french/german modderresource.

one month passed since last update. so, what happened during this time ? the major things done is about the arena.

add a arena master named stark whom have a topic named "bet on a match". you may chose either the red team or the blue team, then watch the fight. if you win , see him for your winnings. it's sound like the OB arena. you may bet as many time as you want. after each match, the dead gladiator will be resurrect and ready for a new fight. the gladiators use level list equipments, so they will looks different each time in order to sim a new different gladiator.
