I think the effects were delayed.

same here. I too was excited that I wouldn't have to level my modules up again, but that was only a dream. My kills were still on the leaderboards for awhile too.

Yeah, once you reboot you keep your fully upgraded modules until you turn off your Xbox or you've upgraded them. I will explain the latter.

Although you may have SE III at level 1 after rebooting, if you go into Skill Assessments it will say 0/150. Once you get this to 150/150 you will be awarded 2500xp as usual but then the module will be downgraded to SE II and then you need to work it to 350/350 to get SE III again.

Best advice is when you've had enough playing the game is to just keep yourself in the lobby until you play again, that way it greatly alleviate the difficulty in trying to compete with the other players that have vastly superior weapons and modules when you're low level. What makes matters worse is that you have unsilenced weapons at low levels and you don't have much energy so you canT change position quickly after a gunfight.

I've heard a lot of people gripping about how this game is unplayabl after you reboot because you can't compete with the upper level players. I will have to disagree though. I am pretty good at the game and was ranked 29th in the world in kills before I rebooted. I have played 24 matches with 12 wins and 12 losses, I have recieved 12 MVP's, and I have a K/D of 2.09 and I'm only level 19 right now. Just need to understand how to utilize the suite effectively and be smart when entering an engagement. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

I agree it's not unplayable, but a very frustrating experience. I can't imagine how difficult it would be to play if I was completely new and rubbish, this might explain why there are 500k+ players on the leaderboards but the majority have only played a few games and gave up. Before I played this game, I played 30+ hours into the Demo so was already good before I got the full game.

I am not a s*** player as well. I was 26th in the world before I rebooted the 1st time. I've now rebooted 3 times so if we did the math I would probably be 1st in the world for kills as I get over 6000 kills before I reboot. I get so many kills because I'm mostly a IA player, 25 kills every 5 mins is fast and nets a lot of XP (5-6k a win). Quickest way to level if you're good and rank up your modules.

The 1st time I rebooted I struggled to get 1.5-2.0 KD a game before I had stealth enhance III as I couldn't get used to sitting around recharging all the time, and people would kill me while I was doing it (because I would kill someone and they would know where I was because I have an unsilenced weapon and/or a maximum radar). Once I got it I went 3+ KD. Luckily, when I rebooted the 2nd & 3rd time the above glitch occured and I kept my modules at tier III so this somewhat compensated for the fact that I was forced to run around with unsilenced weapons.

IMO, you should keep your modules if you want on reboot. I don't find the hassle of getting them rewarding or enjoyable. Last Friday I had 4.13 KD, which is good considering that I played with unsilenced weapons most the time until I got Scarab at lvl 27 (I don't really like the Feline, looks ugly when stealthed and takes ages to kill someone who has armor) and the SCAR CELL camo looks amazing :D. Now it's about 2.30 because my brother played it over the weekend and he found the game VERY HARD even with the best weapons and top tier modules.

So having no modules, unsilenced weapons + having no game experience vs. players with top tier modules, silenced weapons + game experience is not a fun experience even with someone with game experience. I was so mad at one point because I was spending all my time recharging at low level's I had to take a couple days off and pushed through until I got the good modules.

Remember not everyone is as good as us on this game, only a handful of players I've seen have been exceptional at this game. The majority I have seen on gamebattles and there you don't go 6 kd , you'll be happy to get 1.5-2 KD. I played a italian team last weeked and went 1.3 KD, these players were GOOD and my team were good. A little mistake and you're dead, the players in pub matches are mostly awful, they can only seem to kill you by killing you with a grenade/melee or shotting into your back. This is why I hate the grenades on this game, especially after the hotfix, it caters to bad players and gives players free kills. I get a kill 50% of the time with it. I was showing my brother how to play the game and I was going 23-0 on IA on Skyline and he was getting really excited and then a random grenade killed me and I went 25-1. So f***ing annoying.
