Refitting armor

So what I'm talking about is having a need to visit a blacksmith (or use Armorer skill) to make the armor that you took from that huge orc to be right size for your smaller character. You could still use the armor before refitting it, but it would have serious penalties to your attributes.

Seems like a good idea. Nothing I would sleep over if it was not included, but you know.

Well I must agree it does seem a bit daft when you take some heavy armour off an Orc then put it on your female Breton and its an exact fit, so yes I think this is a good idea.

I've thought of this myself actually, would be cool. If there was several body types, or people had custom made bodies this would make even more sense.

Voted "yes".

Yeh, why not? :P

Can't say i'll miss it if it's not there, but it seems logical.

Yeah what else was weird was that all armor just magically rearranged itself when it went from a man to a woman wearing it. Maybe they could fix that too.

I think the time of the development team could be better spent ...

Not really worth implanting.

Voted yes, but it might become more tiresome than immersive after a while. It'd be a good option for some kind of "hardcoe/survival mode" discussed recently.

No. This is an unnecessary step between me and the orcish curiass. In most fantasy games it's nothing for a human to equip dwarven (noting in most games dwarves are short) armour. This is standard that works for simplicity and ease.

I voted yes because I think it would be a cool feature, but I think it would annoy a lot of players and is therefore unlikely to be implemented. Goes for clothes too -- take your newly-acquired blood-stained garment to a seamstress to get it adjusted to your size. :)

I voted no. I'm all for features that increase immersion in a game, but I think there's a point where the game becomes too realistic to be properly fun, and this crosses the line just a little.

I might support the idea if it was restricted to refitting armour that you took from a character of the opposite gender, but still, it's not something I would miss if it were left out.
