reflecrions of...

killer song indeed but, not the topic here.

my query is about the reflections that you see in the glass bubble on the chemistry station (apologies in advance for the ignorance of the technicàl term) and in the hubcap and probably some other things that i just can't think of rat the moment.

well, where is that place? my oldest son says it's the dev town where every item in the game is held in chests, err containers. where they test everything, like that room in skyrim that always crashed my pc until i got a good rig!

he likes to talk out his ass though, and I'd rather slap you guys with this than just google it. this is much more interesting!

dam, i can't even edit the title where my drunk ass misspelled that simple word?! dammit!

ok, so i made it to the 3rd page with no response at all. I've finally reached the bottom of the barrel... oh well, no place to go but up!

seriously though, doesn't anyone know this? do you even know what I'm talkin about?

i know there's some interesting topics alive right now but this is meaningful.

is it only on consoles where it's a static image and the pc has dynamic reflections for these items? these are the questions people! answer em!

Okay. If my brain is to be believed; then you are asking about the "parallel world" that is used to create reflections on surfaces.

Now if you're looking for the area that is reflected within shiny, glassy reflective thingies then I doubt you can access that. I think, albeit conjecture, that it is the world you are in, flipped.

The dev/QA cell is the same as Skyrim; coc qasmoke

Great, now I can't make sense of myself!

I'm on ps4 for now man, but the reflection I'm talking about is static. meaning it's not an actual reflection of an area but an image burnt into the texture on the item itself. on the load screen with the chemistry station, you can see it rather well. an item I've picked up, called a "hubcap" also has the same static image burnt into it.

it does rotate when you spin to show a °360 panoramic, but the buildings do not look familiar. although it is difficult to see, even at 1080p on a 46" screen.

i was just curious if anyone else had noticed this, if it was static on consoles but dynamic on pc and where the place might be.

the lack of responses tells me either, (a) no one else has seen it and i am the greatest gamer alive or (2) I'm a [censored] and nobody cares.

i like to think number (a) is the most accurate, but i could be biased, asinine and a bit conceited.

censored d u m b a s s? really?
