Regarding Orc faces

I was watching Gopher's video of TESO and in it he complains about the lack of horns for Orcs, something Skyrim had. And that got me to thinking, the Orcs didn't have horns in the games prior to Skyrim, so can horns actually be considered a traditional Orcish feature? What is the lore regarding Orcs having horns? According to lore made prior to Skyrim were Orcs supposed to have horns, or was that something Bethesda came up with out of nowhere when they made Skyrim.

And what about the noses? The Orc noses in Skyrim and TESO are a lot different compared to the Orc noses in Morrowind and Oblivion. They changed them to look like human noses, where as before they looked more like flattened snouts. What is the explanation for this?

Aesthetics have differed from game to game. The bone growths on Orcs were a feature that only Skyrim had, personally I think there is nothing wrong with this, and its not really an issue. Take Bosmer for example, in Morrowind one of the faces have horns, In ESO you can deck them out with antlers.

Besides, it fits well with the creamy almost Oblivion like characters ESO has.

Just fyi, the 'bone like' features that Skyrim's Orcs had, is also possible in ESO.
