Regarding the Dunmer and current opinions on the Tribunal

Alright, allow me to begin by saying that this is my first post ever on this forum because I joined specifically to ask this question. So I offer my apologies if I make any noobish mistakes!

Now then, my question. I recently acquired and played through Dragonborn, which I enjoyed very much largely due to all the wonderful fanservice to my beloved Morrowind, and I ran into a Dunmer woman named Aphia Velothi. She told me that she used to be a priest at the Temple but left due to disagreements on the current state of the Tribunal. The Temple in Raven Rock holds what I think is the current dominant belief that the Tribunal consisted of false gods and that the daedra Reclamations are the "true Tribunal". The fact that this woman apparently disagrees with this assessment is something that I found intensely interesting. Sadly, she doesn't say anything else on the matter, so I'm left to speculate, but I keep thinking about it. Obviously the historical Tribunal is gone, Almalexia and Sotha Sil being dead and Vivec being who-knows-where, but perhaps even after all this time there are Dunmer who don't believe it? Or perhaps think that they are going to return? Or... something else entirely?

What do you all think?

(As an aside there was a copy of "Lives of the Saints" on a bookshelf near her and whether or not this was intentional I thought it was a nice touch.)

The book http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Dragonborn:The_Reclamationsshould provide you with more info.

The Dragonborn dialogue shows that not all Dunmer view this issue in the same way.
I suppose belief wil range from (secretly) still worshiping the Tribunal to renouncing them completely.
