That was definitely one of the highest moments of E3 so far. Annoucing a Pip Boy that works AND interact with the game got me screaming out loud.
But there's still not much infoon it, there is? Voicing my main concerns here:

1. Is the Pip Boy actually a device, or just a case for your cellphone?
2. Does it even work WITHOUT a smartphone? Because I am one of the few souls that own a Windows Phone, and they annouced the app for iOS and Android only.

That's all I want to know before buying the Pip Boy Edition.

The pipboy apo itself is standalone (and free) and will launch alongside the game.

it has at least one functional light not connected to the phone put in it

so maybe could be a compass on the side and idk how exspencive would be to manufacture but if it had a gieger counter that ticked away near radiation would be kinda neat or very least maybe a place to manually install one ?
