I did a search to see if this has already been addressed, there are similar threads but not one with my particular question so I will just ask around.

Basically I really want to become something more than a "common citizen" in the region I live (Sentinel). I must have taken at least 10 or so quests from nobles like Queen Akorithi or Prince Lhoton. But I'm still common from what I can tell. So for those of you who become more important regional figures, what kind of quests did you do? Should I do more local merchant quests instead?

I hope someone has an answer here. My Daggerfall character has everything she wants, best enchanted equipment, leader title in various factions she joined, bought a beautiful house in the marvelous Sentinel City, finished the main quest, etc, yet she's just a common citizen... So you can see why I need to ask this question. And she's already level 22.
