Crazy error on load messages, not ones that are caused by something easily identifiable, is a subject that I am very interested in as well. I myself don't know much and I'm not sure many other people known much about the subject either. I have seen a lot of speculation but nothing solid. A quick look on PES will show that many people who use Regional Known Criminals end up with that error but I'm not convinced it's the mod. What I have noticed is that specific mods tend to show up in these error messages probably because of the way the scripts in these mods are constructed--either in cause of or despite the message I am not sure which. Many people will point to save corruption because its an easy out when what they really mean is they have no idea what is going on.

You will probably get the standard suggestion to repair your save at some point, but it is unlikely to help. Maybe try removing that mod, cleaning the save, and adding it again or just leaving it out. Or, fiddle with the save in Enchanted Editor and see what you can do. When I start a new game I like to run around Seyda Neen and create 3 or 4 saves in random locations when I am testing a new modlist. I've noticed I can get these errors to show up right away if something is off in my list. I think I see this error more when I am loading so many mods that my machine has to struggle. Ie, it takes 1 minute or longer to get to the main menu. I can't say for sure.

Someone on PES speculates that maybe the script in Regional Known Criminals bugs out in non-stock areas causing the script to freak out. Sounds like pure speculation to me I've seen these crazy @@@@ messages for what seems like no reason. But, maybe if you can somehow restart the mod or any scripts that it uses with any of the methods I said above it might fix it.

In the past, I've seen quite a few people who report the Expression Errors containing "@" also say that these are transitory, and that restarting the game and reloading the save works. I'd try that first before changing anything.

Oh, yea I agree with John. I wouldn't do surgery unless you really have to. I have had a save take 10 times to load before it finally did, so try and get that save up and then create a new save and see if that one is better. The way you sounded though is that it has be an ongoing problem that is why I suggested messing about.
