Who would win in a battle between Regulators vs. The talon Company mercs. Lets assume it was 4v4 or 5v5. To better understand these people lets look at what they carry and wear

Regulators-They use Laser pistols, Laser rifles, Combat shotguns(quite good),Chinese assualt rifles, and Combat Knifes. Their armor is Dusters.

Talon Company Mercenary's- Chinese assualt Rifle, Combat Shotgun, Missle Launchers, Laser rifle, Combat Knife, or Lead pipe(rarely see them with this). Armor is Talon Company Combat armor(combat armor).

I think the biggest factor in here is the Armor because the regultors carry dusters that have 3-5 DR. Talon armor is 28 DR.

Give your opinions of who would own who or who wouldnt win.

In a honest opinion,the Talons would win,they have the numbers,as the Regulators don't.

Seeing as the only Regulator I've ever seen patrolling the Capital Wasteland is the Lone Wanderer.....I'll have to go with the Regulators.

How is the Lone Wanderer a Regulator?

He works with them with the Lawbringer perk. However, he's not one.

The only difference, gamewise, is that Talon Company have better armour, so they win. In lore terms, it's a different story, but I'd still back the Talons because they're more organized and effective. The Regulators are just a bunch of vigilantes, against soldiers.

yah kinda but the Regulators are the good ones and the Talon company comes after you when you have a good karma.

Talon Company would most likely win due to larger numbers and better armour although we can't really judge the Regulators because we don't know the extent of their numbers,

Talon Company hands down. But you need to add an option in the poll so I can also choose that they svck anyway. If you wound them enough, they will still cower. If you're gonna die, might as well keep your finger on the trigger. :flamethrower:

Is the Lawbringer perk broken? It says in the description that you get fingers from evil humans or ghouls however I have never gotten a finger off of any of the ghouls I have killed.

As far as the main topic is concerned, the Talon Company mercs would win the vast majority of fights between the two as their armour is far superior to that of the Regulators. A Regulation Duster won't last long against a Combat Shotgun.

Even ignoring in-game facts such as quantity, the Talon Company still win. They are a large, organized group supplied by bad guy X with combat armor and heavy weaponry, while the Regulators are more sort of a small town's sheriff's office with I assume little training and little equipment.

While i am in favor of the Regulators, Talon Company has the numbers unfortunately, and would win hands down, so time to whip out the good ol' flamethrower..... :flamethrower:

I voted even fight; but I like Regulators more. Their faction is just more appealing to me. :shrug:

Talon Company, simply because they have better armor and they have security bots.

There are female Talon Mercs, Skirt. Alas, they are all dead and just waiting to be looted(set locations in various Metros, etc.).

There are two inside Metro Central. Both are located beside a Chinese Assault Rifle and copious amounts of .556 ammo! Of course, both of them were located near hotspots of radiation(groupings of radioactive barrels) so at least they were not defeated by their enemies.
