I've never actually gotten very far in the Thieves' guild quests... looks like now is a great time to do so! The screenshots look awesome, grabbed it!

Two things. One, I was in the club at 6am and the people at the bar didn't get up and leave, they just disappeared. Oh well ,they are probably mages. Second Phoebe and Peter don't have chairs under them ( they may be mages too but the visual is unsettling).

I can't enter the south wall between the hours of 7pm and 6am. :/ I checked the warnings text, and there's no errors listed.

But whenever I try to enter south wall after 7pm, the game crashes to desktop immediately.

The mod looks great--but are nearly all of the new NPCs supposed to ignore my character when they're clicked on? This applies to those watching the girls, those seated at the bar, and those seated at a table, carousing. As most of these are named NPCs, I expected at least a "Come back later, I'm busy now," response, but there's nothing. Is this an issue I might be having with some mod interference?

I couldn't figure out how to upload more than one at once. And I sort of hate the screenshots; I only posted them here because I had to. I'm pleased that you think it's fine looking; your Balmora Ghetto mod was a big inspiration.
...................

First off it looks great.

You are right you can only upload one screen at a time. But if a mod makes changes like this, Then screens shot are a good idea. You can always change them out when you get better ones. :icecream:

Did you install the mod correctly? You're probably missing textures and meshes. I haven't played modded Morrowind in a bit, so I'm not sure, but I can't recall any other error messages like that. Did you also extract two folders along with the esp file?

I extracted everything where it should be, I will try it over again.

Does it have to be unzipped wit 7zip or will WinRAR do?

I'm pretty sure it is not an issue. It is as intended. Most of the NPCs are there only for atmosphere, much like the dancers and the band. I think names are added so that the "real" NPCs are not immediately obvious and for atmosphere.

I would love to see more generic (blank) NPCs added throughout the game, to fill up the streets and towns. Just "filler" so to speak. Just like all the faceless people we pass by everyday in life, not everyone out there is meant to be interacted with. Most RPGs (ES included) you just assume anyone you see must be there for a reason, so you try to talk to everyone you see. I hate that. I much prefer to have a reason to approach a complete stranger. Some clue that I should talk to them.

This mod is definitely in the right direction.

Morrowind Comes Alive does this, and a new mod in beta does it, as well. The thing is, both let you interact with the NPCs. What struck me as odd in the South Wall mod (and therefore possibly a problem on my end) was that I couldn't even get a "Can't you see I'm busy?" in a dialog screen. Lack of any interaction with an NPC is highly unusual.

Each to their own. MCA gets around this by giving all its new NPCs names that are generic professions: Warrior, Paladin, Imperial Archer, etc. I believe the mod under development plans to use regular names for new NPCs.

First of all thank you Balathustrius for making the South Wall Club a real and living Inn. This mod bring memories back from when I play tested http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=5625. IMO this mod was some kind of a mess compared too your mod.
Who is/was RX31? And why is new animations hardly ever used in Morrowind mods. For roleplaying purpose I have always liked the posibility that the PC in Gothic 2 could sit down on a chair.

Actually, I don't think so. Yes, MCA and the new mod being developed both add generic NPCs to the game, but they are scripted and you can interact with them. While very cool, and ideally that's the way it should be, all of that scripting adds lag. It all adds up. The "blank" NPCs that I refer to (and that Den of Iniquity uses), have zero scripts running (or so I am lead to believe) and thus have little to no impact on FPS.. about as much as a spoon on a table I should imagine. The sideeffect being they all ignore you and you have zero interaction. However, it allows you to cram more NPCs into a scene to fill the place up a bit, and that is something I'd love to see more of. Think of how the stands in the Arena could look if they could be filled during fights!

Of course, if anybody understands all of this better, please feel free to correct me.

But I'have already tried the PES and megaupload archives and any change, is there somebody who can send or show me where ( which mods, authors, etc...) to recover the missing textures because they don't seems to be included and the CS indicate there is other textures missing in the thieve guild hall
attached to chest.

I've resolved the problem with animation and texture from Soltheim castle by Korana.

Sorry I'm late in responding to this; I haven't checked here in a while. I thought the latest upload to PES fixed the missing files; sorry for that too.

Unfortunately, I lost the original mod files due to some computer problems. This limits my ability to fix the problem.

However, I am fairly certain that all the missing files are included in Illtempered's "Arena and the Rusty Swordsman, from which I stole them in the first place. If you download that mod and copy its files into your main data-file directory, it should remove the error messages. You don't have to add the actual mod, just the meshes/textures (it's a good mod, though).

Also, I believe all the missing files were relatively minor. The only problem their absence is likely to cause is the error messages themselves.

Once again, I'm sorry for the hassle. I really am at a loss as to why I can't seem to get these files included in the download.

Here's the link to Arena and the Rusty Swordsman:

I had all those same problems but then I installed the Arena and the Rusty Swordsman and all the errors went away. So I just have BB, Den of Iniquity and the Rusty Swordsman mod installed for right now.

The club is crowded at night, but quieter during the day.
I'm quite sure this is explained in the Read Me, no?

You're right. At night time, all the people were in there. That Argonian on the stage in front of the dancing girls is annoying. I think I'll go into the CS and scoot him out of the way. I freakin love the music that plays! It sounds middle eastern in a way, kinda lamenting too. Amazing!

So I guess to run this mod you need to have the files from Arena and the Rusty Sword, huh? Well, that mod is giving me about 500 errors when I try to enter the Arena Pit in Vivec. Maybe I'll just PM the author. It's about 500 of these: NiAnimation Error: Object "Bip01 Tail" not found in NiAnimation. Unable to LayerActivate for AnimGroup "Idle" for "CLONE III_glad_Imperial0100000000".

EDIT: Okay, I just solved the problem. I went into LizTails AnimKit and applied all the animations and the fixed all the animations by clicking the two buttons. For those that don't have it, it's a great little program that she put together. Now both of these mods (Den of Iniquity & Arena and Rusty Swordsman) work without any errors!

What?! Well I just sent Liz a PM regarding that matter. Why does Liz sign his/her messages as "Liz"? That's a girl's name. Well, Princess_Stomper is definitely a girl; I know that.

To recap our PM exchange for the benefit of anyone else who cares:

Yes, I'm a male. I try not to sign messages with "Liz," since it tends to confuse people that way, but others have definitely called me that. My name is short for "Lizard Tail," not "Elizabeth." Personally it doesn't bother me at all if people don't know my gender so if they call me "she" I just answer the same as if they called me "he." I don't think it's worth embarrassing someone over it if they get it wrong and it doesn't really affect the content of our discussion so I just ignore it. It's my fault for having an ambiguous name ;)

I'm not trying to be tricky about it, though. My gender is set correctly in my profile, is listed http://www.liztail.com/about_the_artist.php, and my avatar is a male Argonian (for those who can tell the difference =x).

EDIT: Well, I set it correctly in the settings page anyway... I can't seem to see it so maybe the board admins disabled the display of gender information. Lame =/

Nice stuff!

I love mods that get RX31's animations into the world. I'd love to someday see a mod that peppered sitting, dancing, drinking and other animated NPCs into all the bars in Vvardenfell. Is anyone making such a mod?

http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=871353 does this.
The mod is somewhat unfinished, though. You'll have to add the music by yourself (and probably edit some NPCs if you're the lore-correct type). You will have to do some cleaning too.
Lots of work, but worth it.
