Damn right. I'm camping near my mailbox.

Besides, no way I'm buying the local french-dubbed version.

I am camping on the street for it, but for fun and hype, not because I have to.

Edit: I am calling in sick for work, and taking a week break from school for this.

I'll be downloading through Steam - game pre downloaded before launch, all you have to do is wait for the game to be unlocked to install and play.

If the game is using Steamworks for its DRM, I'll save myself the trouble and just sit in my computer chair munching on some food and blasting some folk metal while waiting for it to download on Steam.

Same goes if it's using a really horrid DRM like SecuROM.

Feels good, bro.

If it's using a tolerable DRM though, then sure. I'll preorder the game at Gamestop and wait with some fellow comrades for a good 10 minutes or so.

Does it come out the same day all over the world?

I believe they said it was a world wide release date.

i dont know what im gonna do... with oblivion, i preordered it and went to gamestop early the day of release, and waited in the store, for... hours, i think... until the truck drove up and brought the boxes filled with copies of the game inside.

course, i HATE gamestop now, with an extreme passion... i got sick of buying "new" games at full price, when the games were already opened and tossed into the back of a dirty drawer... one new game i bought was even smudged! [that was at a different gamestop across town, so its not just the one i usually goto that svcks]

so... im not sure... i might pre-order it on amazon, who knows?

i trust amazon, i've never had problems with them, so i think i'd be better off getting skyrim from there... least i can be sure it wont be opened and stripped of all its contents and dumped into the garbage, then re-packaged for me to buy at $80...

1.Pre-Order
2. Go to sleep on 11-10-11
3. Wake up.
4. Go to school
5. Go to Gamestop (do you have to be a certain age to pick up a game?)
6. If I have to get my Dad to pick it up, I'll go home and tell him to pick it up on his way home.

I will probably pre-order the game and Gamestop and pick it up as early as I possibly can. I could probably just pre-order it through steam, but I like having a physical copy.

I usually pre-order games through Amazon because they have some good swag to go along with it.

I will do what I have to in order to be at the store when they open.
I don't think pre ordering is necessary. The store had plenty of copies of Oblivion on release day and the day after.

Why pre-order? Ive always just walked in to gamestop day of and gotten the game no hassle. Hell, I even bought the Fallout 3 collectors out from under someone who did pre-order it.
