reloading lag explanation

Post » Fri Nov 19, 2010 6:44 am

it turns out any weapon that reloads one shell/bullet at a time will lag from 3 seconds time to time, this includes the cowboy repeater, 357 magnum, trail carbine, hunting shotgun, etc. this will only happen if you MOVE while reloading. you can test this out by switching out ammo types. this glitch is annoying as hell but at least now you know to stay still if you're going to be reloading one of these weapons in a tense firefight. :P

note: this only seems to happen only while standing, and another way to cancel out the glitch is by hitting the left trigger a few times while reloading

It's very annoying when you are fighting 20+ DEATHCLAWS, too. :ahhh:

It's only happened to me a handful of times because I usually get sneak criticals when fighting multiple enemies and I don't have to resort to run'n'gun tactics. But it can be very frustrating in those intense and unsuspected moments when you stumble across multiple enemies or a nest of some sort.

Hopefully it can be addressed in a future patch. Hopefully. . .
