(Relz) AOF Containers

Post » Fri Jul 02, 2010 10:03 am

Hello everybody.

Here is some things I have had sitting around for a while, just finished, and decided to upload.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v217/AnOldFriend/New_Kegstand_01.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v217/AnOldFriend/New_WoodenBucket_01.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v217/AnOldFriend/Sacks_NewTexture_01.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v217/AnOldFriend/NewBarrelSacks.jpg

The textures for the sacks I placed into a separate folder in the file so that you can decide for yourself if you want to use them. They are more or less updated versions of the textures that came with my sacks replacer. The tiling is less obvious and I made the twine holding them together look a bit nicer I think.

Enjoy.

Sadly, I am not able to download this. I keep getting stalls before the download actually starts. Any way you could do a temp upload of it somewhere?

Those screen shots look amazing! I'll find out when I download this, but I'll ask anyway, does this include textures for the crates? I don't know why, but for some reason the completely mis-matched textures on my barrels and crates have been driving me crazy! ;^)

Take care AOF, and thank you for another great release.

I use Connary's crate textures along with quite a few of his other available textures. I basically install Skydye's textures as base, then Connary's, and then the ones I have made that I like more then either of theirs. :P I think Connary's crate textures fit pretty well with these barrels.

Got em. Thanks

No problem. :foodndrink:

I meant to resize the textures actually. I like to work on larger source files so I can better see the details and so on. Maybe I will upload a version with lower res textures. :whistling:

I think it was in his wood texture pack, could be wrong. There are links to all or at least most of his textures in a few different threads around the forums somewhere.

Nice release, AOF! Did you use the vanilla meshes?

Other than that, how's life? Been a while since we spoke.

Cheers,
PKR.

The bucket is the only model that I didn't remodel. Barrels and kegstand are completely new.

I have been good. You should come around more often.

Also I think you might be interested in having a look at the MCP thread. MCP 1.7 and up have some great new features that allow for ref and bump mapping pysiqued models, and also another feature that makes reflections use local lighting, no more super bright reflection effect in dark areas. :celebration: Not to mention all the other great fixes and tweaks as well. Perhaps you could update some of your mods. ;)

Anyway, take care man. Hope to see you around more often. :foodndrink:

I know about the MCP improvements. Unfortunately, I didn't have much time for modding, moving around and having very little free time (the little time I have, I spend playing Mount&Blade Warband and M2TW)... One day I'll surely go through all of it and update things, but I can't really tell when that day will be...

Take care,
PKR.

Excellent mod, dude. (If you would do one for shacks, crates, and docks I would be so happy )
