:) Let us know if that fixes it for you.

DN, I'm still getting the fingers sticking out of the fist when using gloves (though it is fixed now when I'm not using gloves. Its not really a big deal since I don't normally use them anyway).

I'll test again with just the required files to make sure.

Oh, do you think I can ask about how you got the clothing and armors to show up on the body? :) I'd like to see about getting some of my community clothes showing up on my pc. ^^" I like my female models as much as the next guy, but looking straight down is only entertaining for so long :).

Which gloves? Vanilla or modded?

Its possible I missed a glove

Pretty sure it was a vanilla glove. Only thing that could have modded it was Better Clothes. Its a pretty common glove. Lemme see if I can get the name for you.

Edit: The common left and common right gloves. I haven't tried any other gloves though.

I know I'm not perfect & I don't mean to sound like a butt ...but everything in the readme that says "is required".... 'IS" required" .... I don't know how else to say it ....

Well actually, you DO sound like a "butt" to me. I think it is well understood that I tried my best to get things working, and those stipulations about using Beast Bodies even if you are human should have been listed in there, for the mere fact that it could be confusing to people who aren't using Beasts, to have to download a totally separate mod for the purpose of user another semi-unrelated mod. (By contrast to one another, I mean. See I never would have guessed that the mod could be dependent on a beast race mod). It is certainly something that is unusual enough to note.
Yes, it says required, but the way it was written and listed was confusing to me, although I may be the only one. The way it was listed looked as though it was either use BB or any of the two beast replacers. Same with the plugins, I took them as "if then if". Not to nitpick but there was no AND in it which is what I was stuck on. It was just listed. I'm not saying it for any other reason than to explain why it wasn't really necessary to "politely" rub it in my face. :cookie:

Now, I still haven't reinstalled the mod but I have a very good feeling that this would fix the issue...Why am I debating on installing the mod on this particular game? Because I don't really want to use an extra mod that I don't otherwise need.

Peace. :tops:

Sorry if I was short with you ... but I have had a lot of PM's about this mod & they have "all" been install issues & almost all users with problems didn't bother to read the readme before PMing me to say "your mod has a bug" or "your mod doesn't work"

Granted you read the readme but you did chose to not install part of the "required" components & yes I didn't spell out why you needed all the required elements because I thought just saying they were "required" would be good enough.

I did it that way I did because I figured @ this point almost everyone used one or the other beast replacers & I wanted as few esp's as possible.

Well, guess what DN....
Beast Bodies did NOT fix it!! The hands are fixed (which were never my real concern if you remember, I had no problem ignoring it and only mentioned it in passing).
I was positive that New Beast Bodies would fix the sound issue after all of this. I just got around to installing it, quite sure I'd just jump into the game and get on my happy way, but right away I realized that my crossbow was still mute. I can't believe this, lol. I was happy thinking I was wrong because at least it meant I could eventually use the mod.

Now, could it possibly have anything to do with a specific race? (I'm playing a Redguard male)

Just to make it clear, I installed the Better Beast bodies by LizTail, I activated both esps (though they may not have been needed), then I made sure and reinstalled this mod all over again from scratch. Activated both esps, making sure I was using the one for Liztail's and not Slof's. I also went ahead and stuck all of the mods at the bottom of my load list to help with any sort of easily identifiable conflicts.
Went into the game and hands were fixed, mod was working, but Crossbow was mute. I then proceeded to move the mods around and change the orders a bit, but to no avail.

I love my crossbow....I love my crossbow.

What I'm going to do is test it on a Vanilla crossbow without any mods which i still haven't done because when trying it, my game would crash because of GCD, I believe. I'll have to start a new game and set it up for testing.
I'm completely stunned. Time for more testing, then.

From the sound of it, just having the bare-bones running made it work.
A mod conflict then? Something that actually conflicts with DN 1PE?

Interesting. I wonder what it could be? @.@

I've noticed, not really a conflict, but a slightly dissapointing aspect of this mod(at least in terms of my own proverbial perversion), it turns the "make love" topic and therefore the various courtesans from MCA into a watch your own characters hands flailing but nothing else(a waste of time for the pervert in all of u...well me), any suggestions on how I could fix the camera angle for that particular topic? If not, its cool, because this mod is just awsome, just kind of svcks not being able to fully appreciate that one small aspect of MCA. :P

http://www.lowgenius.net/post/Morrowind-FPS-Optimizer.aspx - a third party app/dll that runs along side Morrowind.exe and intercepts various program calls to help maintain a smooth framerate, plus enhance/add some game play options.

It's mentioned here mainly for it's ability to set FoV to something other than MW's default 75, allowing for more of the player model to be visible on-screen.

Hate to do this, but saw you were on DK, so figured I'd bump this to see if you had noticed this yet, and perhaps had a suggestion to a workaround. Thanks in advance, and no worries if you don't. :P :D

 Thank you, my limited scripting knowledge did not allow for me to come up with anything concrete and workable to change the 'mca_lovescript' to allow for workable view angles....Good luck with figuring something out, and if you don't, don't worry about it at all, its not really a huge deal. :icecream:

So I finally gave this one a go last night. Worked straight out of the box with 250 odd other mods installed.

Kudos again Darknut, really good stuff.

Figured I'd give this lovely little gem of a mod a bump, not just to make sure people see it, but also in the hopes of learning if the little "issue" with the 'make love' topic from MCA has been looked at.

P.S. Don't let my ever so slight nonproblem problem put anyone off of this mod, it works perfectly, and is executed as close to flawlessly as any mod out there, I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone and everyone for a much greater sense of reality while playing.

Well, Monseigneur Nut,
Have you shown the world your redo-ing of the mod which fixed my issue? I think it's time in case some poor soul like myself misses using this mod.
I have to say that the fix you sent me works perfectly and now I can shoot baddies with my crossbow and hear the sound!! It's such a cool mod. I can imagine that, if I had to remove it, it would be very hard to go back.

The only thing I miss is seeing my two-handed weapons when just idling. That's the only thing that I would change.
You are my hero. But you already know that. :)

Updated to version 1.2

Sorry to bother you Darknut,
I know this has been addressed before,

but when I wear Black Gloves the fist is glitched in 1st person view, but not in 3rd. It appears that fingers are sticking out of the fist... Bare-handed fists are fine.

I ticked the esps. and correctly placed the meshes in the right folder. Is this because of a conflict? I read earlier that you may have forgotten to put gloves esp. files.
Are you going to release it soon?

If required, I will post my mod list. I've cleaned the esp files... etc, with TES tool...

Thanks, sorry to ask. Either than that, this is a fantastic mod. :)

1st don't "Ever" clean "any" of my mods with "TESTool" ... that will usually guarantee things get mucked up.

After I said "I may have forgotten to do gloves" I tested every pair of vanilla gloves ... & I did get any weirdness

What exact glove does it glitch on?
What race are you playing?

So I shouldnt clean with TES Tool? What should I do to fix the problem if I have? Would it be nessecary to replace all mod files all over again? Should I untick the merged ESP files? All I usually do is click on "JUST FIX IT", which I think has nothing to do with cleaning.

Black Gloves, both left and right.
Imperial Race

Thanks :)

EDIT:
I unticked the merged lists, objects and dialogues things... still didnt work out on my old savefile. The gloves are still wierd. Armour gauntlets are fine though.

Never......EVER use "JUST FIX IT" from testool, and yes, it does clean mods, however, it can, and will cause many other problems as well. The only thing Testool is really good for, is cleaning gmst's(for most mods anyway) and manual load order corrections, other than that, its other features have known issues(actually I like its leveled list merger, but it requires the leveled list resequencer program to be really an adequate replacement for wrye mash's similar function).

Edit: Also, thank you again Darknut for this fabulous mod, its fantastic and it just adds so much atmosphere and realism...well, I just can't applaud it enough! :foodndrink:

Ok, I reinstalled morrowind, and didnt clean any mods. I still get the same wierdness with every glove. Corrupt download? Mod conflicts?
I am using Liztails beasts 3.3.

I tried being Imperial and Dark elf. All of the gloves are glitched.

When I did a conflict scan/report, the DN_1st_Person_bodies conflicts with better bodies.

When I view DN_1st_Person_Armor with Wrye Mash
The icon is red, which means some things are missing, the files show as for DN_1st_Person_Armor:
Morrowind - green
Tribunal - red
Bloodmoon - red

Maybe this has something to do with it?
One last question: Apparently I have 6000 object conflicts with my 87 mods, according to TES tool. Should I have a mash.list or re-organise my load orders?

Thanks, sorry for the questions. I think this mod is great too :D

Darknut's 1st Person Enhanced does not conflict with betterbodies ... it requires betterbodies ( the regular version .. not the pluginless version .... & if Mash is telling you have missing files you have it installed wrong

I'm still looking in to the gloves ... but they don't glitch on me ...

TEStool is dangerous in the hands of a veteran & downright destructive in the hands of a noob ... I would advise you to avoid it totally.
