I'll try it on a couple other meshes Craigor.
It's up to teaspoon Faylynn...if he sees this he can let us know one way or the other
Betty Page eh? There is sure no shortage of photos of her on the net (an unbelievably vast amount of them actually..for somebody from that era)...most don't really concentrate on her face though
oo: If I do find something usable I could try making it..the vast majority of them are in black and white too which are of no use. As for the hair..that would need a new mesh..something I don't know how to do. There might be something close out there already made though.
Here's some directions for installing these files that I had posted on another forum...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
First off each of these heads needs 2 or sometimes 3 different files to work. The first is the mesh (the .NIF file) which provides the actual 3-d shape of the head in the game. The second is the texture (the .DDS file(s)....they can be .TGA or even .BMP sometimes too though) which covers the mesh sort of like a coat of paint would cover a head shaped wooden block Very Happy Most normal heads have just 1 texture for the actual face. Vampire heads (and some others) have 2 .. 1 for the face and the other for the glowing eyes.
To apply these files to your player character with the CS do as follows.
Place the .nif into the main Mw meshes folder (this can be just placed loose in there or you can create a subfolder for it and place it inside and put that whole thing into Mw meshes if you like...if you have numerous files you want to keep together for some reason like in a mod you release normally a subfolder is used..not really needed though). Nothing should be getting overwritten..if it is just change the name of the nif.
Place the textures into the main Mw textures folder. Once again they can be put in there loose (the filepaths in all the .nifs I release aside from actual mods are preset for that)..or you can create a subfolder for them..though if you go the subfolder route you need to adjust the filepaths in the nif to point inside that folder (the filepaths in the .nif tell it exactly where to "look" for the correct texture..if they are written wrong the game will never find it). Once again..no actual texture should be overwritten..though you can merge folders if they have the same name without causing any problems.
Fire up the CS..for stock races load the main Mw esm (we'll deal with custom races in a bit).
Click on the bodyparts tab..then right click on it and select new. You'll get a screen like this..

Just fill in all the data..make up an ID for it (something that won't be the same as one already in use by the game). Part has to be head..part type is skin..check off female only if the head is for a female. Check playable..select the race you want it for..and select normal (the other option is vampire..different tutorial for setting it up if anyone wants)..leave the blocked box unchecked. Where it says add art file..click and you'll be taken into the main Mw meshes folder. There you have to find the nif you placed there earlier and select it. Then save by clicking OK on the box..then save again in the upper left of the CS main window under file.
That takes you to another screen..there you have to fill in a name for the new esp you just made...

and save again. Viola..now that head will show up in chargen or with enableracemenu for whatever race you specified once you check off the new esp. Likely a good idea to clean the new esp with testool or Enchanted editor or something before using it though.
For custom races..the procedure is identical..except you need to load up the race esp to begin with rather than the Mw esm and set it as active before doing any modifications.
An alternate (and easier..though it has drawbacks) method for installing the head is just to install the textures normally..and then find the current nif for the head your character presently has. Then simply re-name whichever new one you want to use to be the same and overwrite it. Done..now the game will load the new nif and the head will be changed..the original head will no longer show up in chargen though..and any NPC's that may use it will also get the new head.
These are all on Vampire meshes but will work just fine set up as normal heads..you don't even see the fangs unless the animations run.
