It has been explained, but here it is again:

Dev has a new child. He has withdrawn from the forums but not from modding entirely. He and others on the team(s) are indeed still working slowly toward a new OOO and FCOM update. No date has been specified.

Since the release of MMM 3.7b3 installation order is important in order for resources to work properly with the MMM BSA.
You don't have to use all the files mentioned below but follow the advice if your intention is to do so.

Unofficial Oblivion Patch
Unofficial Shivering Isles Patch(if applicable)
DLC's + Patches(if applicable)
Francesco's 4.5
OOO version 1.33 full patched to OOO 1.34 beta5
Oblivion WarCry patched to 1.085b
Bob's Armory 1.1
Armamentarium and Armamentarium Artifacts(optional)
Martigen's Monster Mod 3.7b3
COBL(optional)
COBL Races(optional)
FCOM 9.9 beta + supported add-ons(add-ons optional)
Body Replacement mods (Roberts, Exnem. EVE etc)(optional)
Texture replacers(optional)

To complete FCOM, install the UFCOM files, overwriting where prompted.

The FCOM leveled lists work exactly the same as OOO's do, with WarCry, Frans etc. integrated into them.
I think what daemondarque is referring to is that as your levels increase so too do the chances of running into different leveled enemies. As an example before level 10 you wont find a lesser balrog, and certainly not a fully grown one before level 20.
This doesn't mean that you can go after Mannimarco at level 5 with any chance of success though.
In cases like that there are static and higher leveled enemies to stop the wayward adventurer - unless your exceptionally clever.

OOOh! I hadn't lost my mind when I did not see MMM3.5 in BAIN. I have the BSA, whew...

Has always lastest MMM thread can be found via my sig..

And well this is pretty standard install order has well for most things..even if not using FCOM has they install rules apply to any MMM config. Just has long has UOP, OOO, get installed before MMM that is all the really matters and cobl get installed after MMM has well.

Hi,I recently installed FCOM using the latest patches- OOO 1.33+1.34b5, Fran's 4.5b +Fran's 4.5b Add-On Package,WarCry 1.085b,Bob's Armory,MMM37b3, uFCOM.Problem is that i find some yellow signs where is supposed to be chests or barrels and other minor missing meshes and icons.I m kinda new at modding but i m pretty sure i did it well so far.

Is that your entire load order? I do not see a bashed patch... FCOM will not work without using Wryebash to create one.

Can someone clarify for me. I have used OOO before and it removes the balanced leveling with enemies, and I thought Fran's did the same thing. This ^ statement makes it sound like in FCOM balanced levels are back. Am I misunderstanding something here?


Neither Fran's or OOO removes actor scaling - and not FCOM either. I'd suggest checking out bg2408's http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/820948-scaling-overhaul-comparison/page__p__11934228__fromsearch__1&#entry11934228 for an overview of how they work.

I still see those yellow signs on some random creatures(goblin skirmisher,owtlow bandit..) and CTD when i try to enter Vilverin Canosel.

Its my personal filter for Dutch Oblivion modders.

@Issual: Crashes at Vilverin are caused by incorrect installing of OOO.
Run Boss and rebuild Bash afterwards.

This requires an extra BSA download. Did you get that?

Also, you have to make sure that the two Frans BSAs (The main items one and the optional add-on one) are either registered in the Oblivion.ini, or better yet renamed to have "FCOM_Convergence - " appended to the front of their current name.

That would be the first two things I'd check.

After that, if you are using OBSE, you can use Refscope or FormID Finder to check the missing items and see where they're from.

Wow, that was a mental lapse. I am pretty sure I have that all sorted out in BAIN now...finally time to start installing (all PyFFI-ing completed.)

Found out "FranItemsAddon.bsa" and renamed it "FCOM_FrancescosItemsAddOn.bsa",tho i cant find the second one.I installed Fran from 2 .exe.

Oh ,yes.I meant FraNewItems.bsa.I do have this and renamed it FCOM_Convergence_FraNewItems.bsa. ..still crashes 1-2 mins after i log in.

I apologize, I was getting that file confused with the Frans extra armor add-on.

You should only have the one BSA from Frans, and with that name it should be loading fine.

You'll need to get some information on what exactly is not showing up correctly. If it is OOO stuff, then you'll need to reinstall that, and make sure to also follow through on the rest of the install order.

And rebuilding your bashed patch might not be a bad idea either.

Seems like somehow i fixed those yellow signs,not seeing em anymore,but started to crash randomly when i left vilverin,no matter what direction i take.

Removed More Wilderness Life, rebuilt bashed patch and still crashes. I really dont know what s the problem.

That is often caused by not having WarCry patched to 1.08b (see OP for link).

Okay, now every part of FCOM seems to have an SI component: Fran, MMM and OOO. I have only ever installed Fran's, but I want to install MMM's now. Does it work with Fran's SI mod? If not, I am perfectly fine just using the MMM plugin.

MMM SI overrides most of Fran's SI so there's not much use for Fran's when using MMM there.
