RELZ - Land Mesh Modder Pack 1 - Roads

The first of a series of land mesh modder packs. This one has road meshes from Dragon's Breech and mightyjoeyoung's Theopolis Roman City mod.

Also included is a retexture set of one of the road mesh sets from Dragon's Breech, meant to match closer the four road meshes by mightyjoeyoung. See the readme under technical for more details.

All of the meshes are entered as statics in a modder esp. Nothing is placed ingame.
The esp was cleaned with TESTool and checked with tesame.

TECHNICAL:

For some reason, Nifscope didn't like the original textures on mightyjoeyoung's road meshes.
I replaced them with higher-resolution, similar textures. I also did a retexture of one of the Dragon's Breech
road mesh sets to match mjy's ones I retextured.

Also, I retextured the db_tcbl_dirt meshes to use a higher-resolution dirt tile. The original texture used was
Bethesda's Tx_BC_mud.tga.

USAGE and DISTRIBUTION

The Dragon's Breech meshes and textures may be used in any Morrowind mod, but cannot be converted for Oblivion use. The road meshes by mightyjoeyoung can be used in any Morrowind mod, and are Ok to modify or convert for Oblivion. You are also welcome to use the non-db textures in Oblivion mods, but please include credits to the photographer or website. And also credit me if there is an RTS in the texture name, as I did work to modify that photo or texture.

You may use the meshes and textures in this modder pack in another mod/modder pack, but please include this readme with any mod or modder pack you include the meshes and textures from. If only the textures are used, you don't have to include the readme, but please include credits to the photographer or website.

You may redistribute this mod in it's original form. HOWEVER, you must make an attempt to contact me, allow at least a month for me to respond, and then if you do upload this pack to a download site, you must send me an email notifying me of the upload. You may send this pack without contacting me to anyone via email, and may upload it to a temporary location like You Send It that keeps the download available for a very short span of time, but NOT to upload sites like RapidSharethat keepdownloads up indefinitely.

For that one, it's more a matter of the texture being made, as it is on a mostly flat plane. I don't have the skills to do that sort of subtle transitions between textures yet. And LadyE and Proudfoot have retired from modding.

But what would be really great is if a modeler could make a set of raised road meshes, not quite as high as mjy's, that were like hot wheel tracks with curves and such, that could be set into land meshes.
