(Relz) Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul 1.33

Wow - just started a pure mage. I'm having a really hard time with it in Vilverin and even on the roads. One NPC enemy is a challenge. Two and I'm dead. Any tips? Is this simply a job for the difficulty slider?

i've seen that this has been told before, but without any answer so i try again. I'm doing the Slavers and Smugglers quest and i sided with the slavers. But once i killed the 3 captains of the Black Marsh faction nothing change. No one want to trade with me or give me a new mission or do something else. Do i have to give up and leave the quest incomplete?

That's the OOO questline I know least about as I've only done it once - the very first time I played OOO. So I'm no help at all with questions/issues regarding it. Hopefully someone else knows more. Checking the OOO Spoilers page I noticed that you can only trade with the leader of the Blackmarsh Smugglers if choosing that path, so perhaps it's the same with the slavers - that you only can trade with their leader?

i can trade with no one xD and the quest won't update, just says that after i've killed the 3 cap. the slavers should now trust in me

That quest is 'open-ended', in that there is no final resolution. I think it is quite easy to confuse it by taking actions that follow both paths, and so end up without either faction being friendly enough to trade with you. In at least one of my games, in attempting to rescue/support the Argonians, the ingrates attacked me the instant they saw me; and even though I released their prisoners, the Slavers still trade with me. :shrug: So I think it may be an excellent candidate for Shadowborn to look at, at some point.

ok i agree but...i have 100% disposition with any of them (includind the leader) so there isn't any reason that doesn't let them trade with me.

The latest version of COBL supports OOO version 1.34, which doesn't support the lite version of the mod (see the opening post re 1.34)
Highly possible that's where your issue is coming from.
As for OOO console commands they are too numerous to list here but are all contained in the http://devnull.sweetdanger.net/OOO/OOO_133_readme.pdf also linked in the OP.

What Shikishima said about the LITE version. Also, you need OOO 1.32-Cobl.esp to get access to the OOO options via the Cobl menu.

Thanks, that was the problem. I enabled that .esp (which I had for some reason forgot to add), BOSS'd, rebuilt my bashed patch and it's now working. I don't seem to have any compatibility issues between Cobl 1.72 and OOO 1.34 b5 LITE, but maybe I just haven't noticed them. Thanks for the help

Nice that you got it working but not sure what you mean with "OOO 1.34 b5 LITE" as there is no lite variant of it. The last lite variant came bundled with OOO 1.33, which means that those who want to play OOO with the latest MMM or UFCOM can't use OOO lite - as both MMM and FCOM requires OOO 1.34 b5. Hm, that sounded more complicated than it is.

Post your load order via Wrye Bash. I've done Narind several times with both OOO 1.33 and 1.34 Beta 5 w/o issues, so it might be something else affecting it perhaps.

I use BOSS with the most recent Masterlist, so it's probably a problem with incompatible mods and not load order.

i do not see anything in your load order that could affect Narind itself. (nothing from FCOM touches it all either)

Not me either. All enemies are from OOO, as well as the added items there. Weird. I'd follow Corepc's advice and you might also double check the OOO install, although you probably should have noticed something earlier if it wasn't correctly installed. In short, no idea what's going on.

EDIT: Just tried it and it loads fine in my game. And we have rather similar mod lists as well. Hm.

I had this problem before, I do not remember what the work around was to resolve it. I tried researching this forum to see if the answer was still available and was unable to find it.

Also, when I was re-downloading 000, I attempted to access the online readme several times. Each and every time, I got load error messages from Adobe Acrobat reader. The readme included in the download works just fine.

I don't have wrye bash, I do have BOSS and OBMM. I am still figuring out how to find a load order that I can copy and paste.

In OBMM left click IMPORT/EXPORT, left click VIEW LOAD ORDER, select all, copy/paste

Double check the install, i.e. that you have 1.33 Complete correctly installed - patched to 1.34 beta5.

I will double check the install Arkingt. However, since the patch is not compatible with Lite, I did not bother installing it. Unless that has changed I will not be installing it.

That last time I tried installing Wryebash I was unable to do it. I'm not sure I want to go through that again.

I'm suspecting my ISP might be the culprit with the pdf issues, I will double check now that I have had yet more trouble shooting done by them and the problem was on their end.

The only change I made in the load order since my last posting was to move TUR gem dust lower than Shadow's merged value fixes because Shadow's price fixes conflict with the values set in the gem dust mod. I had missed the 133b patch for lite so I installed that, ran the game and that did not fix the problem.

I am running the Lite version which is not supported by the 1.34 patch. I have not installed that patch for that reason.

Unless I'm blind you haven't posted the load order.

Also, are you sure you're really having an issue? Containers tend to open only slightly with HC, although it of course differs between different kinds.
