Any chance you would consider adding a trail to Bleaker's Way from the silver road to Bruma as well if you update NRB? They're not isolationists are they?

I like this idea...alot. Scanned the thread....did not see if it had been implemented or considered. Always disliked the fact that Bleaker's Way has an Inn, but no road or trail to it. Perhaps there is a mod that already fixes this and I am just not aware of the same?

Yes, a path to Bleaker's Way was implemented in NRB4, but again, that has nothing to do with this mod :)

If I'm feeling ambitious I might even make a road sign for them.

@WalkerinShadows: Yes, that location you marked is where the tear I reported is at. Imageshack is being a pain today I see and I already deleted the screenshot locally.

Nice release here, Arthmoor. I want to try your roads and bridges mods this summer. My PC has spent a lot of time traveling between Chorrol and Anvil. This will certainly make the trip less not-motivating, haha.

Heh, this isn't my mod, so credit isn't mine for the taking this time :)

I guess I should take this as a compliment, for the quality comparison...

Update 1.3

- Addon for "One of the Gang" by The Real Neraverine, a road and a patch all-in-one
- Better compatibility with UL-River Ethe
- Land tearing fix
- Updated grid path

NOTE: I forgot to say in my readme: put "WR Villages Addon.esp" after "WR OotG Addon.esp" when using both.

ALSO: The Addon for "One of the Gang" is yet to be tested by The Real Neraverine.

Load order:
West Roads.esp
Villages1.1.esp
One of the Gang.esp
WR OotG Addon.esp
WR Villages Addon.esp

No, it's a patch/addon for One of the Gang, both mods had common cells, that's all.

Load Order Discrepancy:

Been following this mod for some time and just today (04/28/10) decided to take the plunge. Downloaded 1.3. Unpacked it. Dropped the two files that apply to me in my special OblivionBOSS directory. (This is a folder separate for my actually Oblivion game folders that houses nothing but ESPs, ESMs and BOSS. I run BOSS there, then use its recommendations in conjunction with mod documentation to manually adjust game load-order with OBMM.) BOSS recommended ordering conflicts with that listed below:

Update 1.3

Load order:
West Roads.esp
Villages1.1.esp
One of the Gang.esp
WR OotG Addon.esp
WR Villages Addon.esp

In particular, BOSS places Villages much higher than West Roads. Here is the applicable section of my BOSS readout:
Spoiler

(DC) The Pride of Wolfs Gate.esp

VHBloodlines 1.2.esp

Villages1.1.esp

VOILA.esp

VOILA - Soldiers of Empire.esp

Windfall.esp

Knights.esp

Cybiades.esp

CybiadesDungeon.esp

The Lost Spires.esp

LostSpiresImpeREALFortsPatch2.esp

AFK_Weye.esp

Rumare-AFK_Weye Patch.esp

ElsweyrAnequina.esp

road+bridges.esp

Feldscar.esp

Vergayun.esp

Faregyl.esp

xulBeachesOfCyrodiilLostCoast.esp

KragenirsDeathQuest-LostCoast patch.esp

xulImperialIsle.esp

NRB4+UL-II Patch.esp

West Roads.esp

WR Villages Addon.esp

Castle_Seaview.esp

I don't take BOSS as gospel. In fact my actual load-order differs somewhat from what you see here. But...BOSS as a general guideline is normally pretty reliable, enough so that I'm a bit leery of installing WR. (Sadly, neither Villages txt files nor its Nexus description page discuss load-order.) I know it has become a somewhat popular mod. Many must be running it trouble free. For those that are, which load-order do you follow? The creator's? BOSS'?

Any input is most appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Great mariedanj and just in time for my newly installed Oblivion.

I think you forgot this http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=31361 (without Dunkerlore) on the same download spot since you already have a similar map with the Castle Dunkerlore. Btw... Could I run into any conflict with the two included patches activated?

Thanks for sharing this. :)

Shoudn't conflict, if you put the "OotG add-on" before "Villages add-on".

As for BOSS Load Order, I think you can trust it. I haven't played in a while (I've been fallout3ing). My guess is they got it right. I recently reinstalled OB and I used BOSS LO, so i'll see about that when I run around the west.

http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1114539-relz-wellspring-vale/ has a patch available for West Roads, look into this thread for info.

Thanks for this mod. It adds a lot to the game, in my opinion. The only thing it lacks is a Road Record such as Arthmoor provides with NR+B.

I did unearth a minor issue. It causes neither crashes nor visual anomalies, and can be worked around. It concerns horse travel and bridge xx010c26, the bridge connecting the easternmost of the two West Roads with the Gold Road as it bypasses Skingrad. Note that I also run UL_Skingrad-Outskirts, which affects that area.

Basically, the steps on the bridge make it awkward for horse travel. My horse tends to get stuck on them. Lots of mouse wiggling will eventually let me continue on, but it's somewhat immersion breaking. Plus, when I traveled with Companion Vilja, both of us ahorse, she was not able to cross the bridge but ended up going around it instead. Note that I tested this heading North. The issue may or may not persist going South.

Thank you for your feedback. :P
Road record is hell! As Arthmoor explained to me, he went through tremendous pain to get it to work
Quoting him:
The road record is winner take all for the entire Tamriel worldspace. Patching it is not possible, you would basically need to to have several different combinations of mods set up to handle it with each combo generating its own record.
Doing this is pretty tricky though. You can't just jump in and tell the CS to generate because it will give you a really big mess for a result. What I end up doing for the UOP, OC, or NRB4 (and combos) is use an ESP where I've stripped the ENTIRE worldspace of path grids. Yes, it took a long time to pull that off. The reason being is that you can only use two blue path nodes per cell to get proper connections. Anything above that and the CS starts making shortcut connections through things you may not want it to. This is the reason the UOP even needed to do this, because Bethesda's own record is a giant mess with some paths leading NPCs to jump from bridges.

So no, there won't be any guards roaming around or easy way around this, I'm not venturing there.

As for the bridge, I admit I forgot to test it on horse back and didn't think of companions as I don't use any. I won't be doing an update soon unless I have other issues poping up. If you can live with it, that is, but it's noted (literaly in my notepad file for this mod). I put the bridge there to avoid patching for UL, hence freeing an esp slot.

Greetings mariedanj :wavey:

There is a mod called http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=35471 that might have a indirect/direct http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/images/35471-1-1288544585.jpg with your http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/images/29523-1-1269799375.png mod.

I know who the author is, but I haven't contact him yet and I will try to contact him as soon I can if that's okay with you.
I will let you know with more information later on. :)

Btw... Thank you again mariedanj for sharing this. :D

Hmmm, I must have been day dreaming. Didn't notice this before. I'm taking a look at it as of now, thank you for the info. I'll see what I can do on my end. I'm also looking for a solution for "Oblivifall - Losing My Religion". I don't like patches so much but this time, I think I can't get away without one.

Like said earlier I know who is the http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/user/624646-antiscamp2/ of Lilyvale Town and http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=34584, but he didn't visit here much because he usually hang around on the Swedish Elder Scrolls forum and I'm a member there.

Btw... Merry Christmas to you!
