Just curious, what does RELz/WIPz stand for? I think I understand REQ easy enough, but lost on the others...

Sorry for noob question.

RELz stands for Released mods and WIPz stands for Work in Progress mods :) People add an s or a z at the end for the search engine. The search engine will not accept 3 letter words.

As the above poster noted.

Also, back in the OLD days, you could search for 3 letter words, so we had REL and WIP. Then the policy changed to require at least 4 letters (For performance reasons on the server, they said) so the community stuck with the initial abbreviations and added a letter - which is why they both have a 'z' at the end.

I don't know about everyone else but I've never used it to search for WIP mods or released mods myself. :P

I think that you are right! But now if somebody does search for Wipz or Relz then they will find this thread which explains what they are.
