I wouldn't want a REMAKE of Daggerfall. If Daggerfall didn't have those charming sprite-based graphics where you can count the pixels on one hand, it wouldn't be as good. If it were remade with modern graphics, the randomly-generated quests and towns would stick out like a sore thumb.
Converting both Arena and Daggerfall to a format that's compatible with Windows, however, would be a great service to the fans. I'd love to be able to play Daggerfall without messing around with the whole DOSbox thing. It might not be profitable for them, though, and if it's not profitable, they ain't gonna do it.
I remember LucasArts did that with X-Wing and Tie Fighter, though. They published a Windows-compatible package of both games. Why not Bethesda?
