I would really like to see a remake of one of the old games with the newest version of the engine, Maybe we can get some modders together to make a version of Fallout NV since the recording is already done for you to reuse or use the newer sfx.

Remakes are probably the most useless thing that could be done to the series - and worst to the original games if a "remake" would mean turning them into some sort of [censored] up FPS games (as is very often meant with these sorts of pleas) like what we have now.

There's no point. The games are perfectly playable as they are. Waste of money, effort and creativity that could be better spent in creating something new. Well, potentially... since the "creation of new" hasn't really worked for the better so far.

As a full game by Bethesda with a triple A budget? Yeah, probably wouldn't be worth it. However, I would like to see a mod that allows me to play Fallout 1 or 2 as a game similar to Fallout 3/NV/4. I've tried a little bit of FO1, but I had some trouble getting in to it.
