look how cool he looks in game he looks ugly
in oblivion i racked up more hours than i would have liked to and most of it i was a woodelf cause i think thier cool because of course their skills with a bow and thier love for nature. in oblivion i think they look like a baby dwarf with a big ugly cheesy face.
do you think its possible to redo them in skyrim and maybe make them a bit taller and give them a skinny build and dont make thier face so wide, i want them to talk and look like thier from a forest almost like a large fairy. of course with out the wings and sparkles lol.
or is thus breaking canon?
what do you think do you feel bethesda should redo any other races?

Female were fugly as. Better textures and face models would do for me.

By the way if they sparkle i murder every one i see. (even though they're my favourite race)

I dont think they need to redesign them, just make the ingame wood elfs look like the concept art.

Like you pointed out the concept art for the wood elfs is great, skinny natural looking and long pointy ears.

So all I ask for in Skyrim is wood elfs that look something like they are susposed to.

If they were better looking, I'd like playing as them.

LIke in oblivion it dint even look like they were from a forest land.
I think they need to look more natural. maybe some of the npc of wood elfs should be like wearing less metal and more light clothes and maybe no shirt like in the image above, although they would be very cold in skyrim.

The Bosmer were the children in Oblivion. They should alter their appearance a little, but not their size.

I hope they remake all the races... In fact they probably will. Just think of how different the races have looked from game to game. I expect the jump from Oblivion to Skyrim to be no different than the jump from Morrowind to Oblivion... Personally, I'd like the see all the races look more like their Oblivion concept art. Wood Elves should be less ugly, Bretons should look more merish, and Orcs should look more menacing... The Orcs in Oblivion were laughable, even by Oblivion's standards... I'd like to see new playable races too, like the Falmer, Maomer, and Kothringi. I'd also like to see various types of playable Khajiit, especially the Ohmes. Other than that, I hope Bethesda implements way better character animations, hopefully done with mo-cap, and way more options when it comes to character creation... I'm talking height, weight, build, way more hairstyles and facial hair styles, skin tones, scars, tattoos, etc. etc.

Well, good thing is they will probably remake all the races, like they do for every game. And although I'm sure they made the Adoring Fan look as annoying as possible, many of the faces in Oblivion have that slightly overweight and malformed look. Some people I know got very good at adjusting it so that we got normal, even beautiful characters, but they can't put that kind of detail into all 1000 NPCs with the current system, especially if they generate them.

Heck, if Bosmer actually looked as awesome as their official art I would play as one.

Orcs should look more war-like rather than mentally challenged pig freaks.

I think you confused altmer and dunmer in your poll.

I voted for each race...

I'd like to point out that your poll has a mistake.

Altmer = High Elf
Dunmer = Dark Elf.
And it's Breton, not Berton :P
Might was to fix that.

In Oblivion, everyone looked ... strange.

The only race I didn't like throughout the series were Orcs. I want prettier Orc girls! Of course no super-models, just more feminine and less warthog-like.

The Nords in TES4 looked like village idiots. Bethesda obviously tried to mimic North European features: pointy nose, prominent bone structure, pale skin etc. as expected, but the final result was off-putting.
