No. But unlike most here I'll expand on this and not just give a one word answer. I believe that remaking fallout 1&2 would serve no purpose. It would create massive arguments on these forums about which is better but that is all. I would however like to see a fallout that continues the story of those titles. A what happens next if you will.

The Chosen one went to Arroyo after killing Frank and saving his village, and Vault Dweller went to found Arroyo, There really is'nt much to expand.

Ok so are people in Arroyo just sitting about all these years later (Time of fallout 3 and n/v) going "Gee weren't those chosen one and vault dweller guys swell. Shame that all happened so long ago." or has the story moved on. I'm guessing that things would continue to happen in Arroyo, the glow, hub and boneyard, that is what i meant by what happens next.

Well it is more complicated then that. Arroyo is gone, burned to the ground. Vault Dweller founded Arroyo after FO1. Chosen One comes from Arroyo for FO2. Chosen One and people of his village along with people of Vault 13 founded http://www.project610.com/files/New%20Arroyo.jpg (location unknown) which is very different then Arroyo thanks to the help of Gecks. Its possible NCR now controls New Arroyo.

Unlike the nostalgia hordes who blindly blather no. I'd say it's a slippery slope. IF it was 100% undeviated from plot and dialogue? Sure. Despite people saying 'it would be guns pew pew' thats what Fallout and Fallout 2 were, you spend ALOT of time in combat, gee sure sounds 'guns pew pew' to me. My real issue is when a company remakes the game to graphically update it, they usually add or remove things that make the game less fun than the original, now, if they keep the plot, dialogue, add no new plot or stories, then yeah it could possibly work, a few whiners would be mad about their nostalgic 2D RPG superiority complex being ruined. But all in all, in theory it would work, but there are to many ifs and rules to do it properly.

Ok so say the NCR does control New Arroyo, that would be an ideal place to pick up the story again. You could have several pro or anti NCR factions involved and could help them liberate, dominate or capture the city, sort of like the dam in N/V.

Problem is it will not be kept the same. The Vaults will be changed, Killing kids will be changed, I can picture everything to do with the golden globes gone. Can't kick with the FO3/NV engine and so some reason I don't see the new one for FO4 being able to do that. All the Jet heads walking around looking like a jet head would be changed. Taking the large world of FO1 and FO2 maps and shrinking them to fit FO3/FO NV map will change the feel. The feel of walking though hundreds of miles of wasteland. Vault 13 and 15 may look close but they are many miles apart. I am not whining I just have a feeling alot would be cut and changed. By Beth the temptation even for Obsidian to make changes would be great. I just don't see a 100% content transfer into the modern game world.

Unlike the Dam, chances are its alot closer to NCR lands or even by now deep within its lands. NCR would have an easier time taking it out. There is no real reason for New Arroyo to hate NCR after all the founder of Arroyo helped start NCR and the Chosen One helped NCR expand North. If anything New Arroyo would be a very helpful memeber of the NCR.
