Reman Dynasty

I know there is sources on Reman I, namely Remanada, and Reman II (2920, The Last Year of the First Era) but is there anything on Reman II? Are the three related? Also is there any texts on the days of the Second Empire besides The First Pocket Guide to the Empire?

Of course they're related.

http://search.freefind.com/find.html?id=72791987&pageid=r&mode=ALL&n=0&query=reman+III is probably all you'll get.

That's what I was afraid of. Exactly what I did. Thanks, though. I asked if they were related because in another topic I read a while ago it said they were not related.

As it turns out, they are related in the dynasty but not father-son, father-son. There are big gaps between their reigns, and 2920 mentions some guy named Brazollus Dor, who was probably an Emperor. There's room for two or three more monarchs in those gaps.

Actually, Reman II was really fathered by Reman I. Just 30 years posthumously.

Alright, thanks guys. One more question, though not Reman related. Was Martin Septim actually crowned as emperor or is he just considered the last emperor?

He wasn't crowned as the Emperor during the coronation ceremony, because it never took place, however the Elder Council met and reviewed his claim to the the throne and accepted him. Essentially he was Emperor, but wasn't granted the positon ceremonily.

'I have been expecting you. The full Council has already considered the matter of Martin's claim to the Imperial Throne in detail.
Martin Septim, on behalf of the Elder Council, I accept your claim to the Imperial Throne. We should arrange the coronation ceremony as soon as...'

Ah, okay. Thank you for all the help. Too bad the Reman Dynasty has so little written about it. I think it would be very interesting to read about.

The beginning and ending were probably the coolest parts anyway.

Yeah. Especially the part where "HROL DID LOVE UNTO A HILLOCK."

Extremely interesting. As hill-[censored] often is.

Too bad about the instant incineration for gazing upon it thing. It'd be sixy.

Indeed. A darned shame, that.

I guess hearing a baby speak like a 30 year old man would have to suffice. Though that ain't nearly as cool.

Unless, of course, he was born many years later as a full grown man.

From a cow or something.
