Remember good old Ciaus Cassades?

Post » Wed Sep 01, 2010 6:44 pm

Ciaus cassades in morrowinds main quest eventually Was called and was reassigned to the imperial city in Cyrodill. Of course soon after that,he disapears from balmora and is never seen again in Morrowind. In oblivion Ciaus casades in NOT in the imperial city. even though he was transfered there to do "Dutys" for the blades. Ciaus is seen no where in oblivion. what ever happened to good old Ciaus cassades? did he get left out of oblivion? did he die from too much skooma and moon sugar?

I think there was talk about putting him in TES IV as a cameo, but it got cut. Of course, given he probably still wouldn't have his shirt on, it's not that much of a loss.

In my heart, he is and always will be. He's also reading a dog-eared and heavily annotated copy of Hasphat Antabolis' The Life and Times of the Nerevarine.

What a great man he was. Hopefully he does not die in his journeys. May Azura take care of his soul always.

No one knows. The developers left it an unanswered question as to his whereabouts. The book and letter linked above are the only official references we have of him in the game.

He might of also passed away from time. Since morrowind took place almost 60 years ago from oblivion,in morrowind Ciauss might of passed away ever since. But that might not be right either.

60 years isn't the timeframe reported by the http://www.imperial-library.info/history/3.shtml. Any source for those 60 years?

Caius wasn't a user. That was his cover, just as being a "priest" was Jauffre's in OB. He was nothing more than a spy. During times of peace the Blades act as spies.

Who would expect a "priest" or a "skooma addict"? Noone would believe the priest nor the addict to be spies, much less knights. Being an addict was his cover. He's not sitting in Kragenmoor doing skooma. He's actually working, or fighting.

And as for the "Blades",, can anyone say Brotherhood of Akatosh? The Brotherhood is just a cover for the Blades. And the Blades use facades such as; Monks.

And it actually takes place 4 years before OB, not 60. There is no source. 60 years ago, was before Arena.

Not a very good cover though, he was using enough to knock a Khajiit out, according to the Khajiit that mentions his addiction.

How do you know? And as of now there is nothing major to fight against since the war has just just ended. For all we know he could be just minutes away from being named the new Emperor of Cyrodiil. *sarcasm* If I had to take a guess I would say he's probably in contact with Jauffre, assuming Jauffre survived. That depends on in-game events of course. But for Lore's sake I would like to think he survived.

I do know of the Khajiit... but ALL of the skooma flasks in his house are full.... doesn't sound like much of an addict to me.
If he really were, I do believe the flasks would be empty.

I didn't mean literally fighting.. It was just an example of something other than doing skooma, perhaps something th4e blades had sent him to do. A mission of sorts. And I do highly agree that he is in contact with Jauffre, if he survived the crisis.... srry for the misunderstanding, perhaps i shouldve said it was only an example. my mistake. but i do believe that he is on a mission of sorts, covert, or not... just my opinion.

He probebly retired into one of the chapter Houses of the Blades along with the trouble-in-Cyrodiil foreshadowing. :P
