I would love to see a line of these hit fallout 4 with the same moddability as power armor with a move speed and stealth focus maybe not using power cores but some alternative resource that you could generate in dlc


The armor would be a special forces equivalent of power armor and basically act like a full outfit that you would get fitted for at a stealth armor station it would not quite a frame but it would be compatible with jumpsuit like underclothes


The suit would have a decent armor value but would have several inbuilt perks affecting the speed at which you run and sneak by a significant degree it would be sleek and form fitting using either a compact mower armor system or a biological system based of fov the suit could also be a Chinese counterpart to power armor like the Chinese stealth armor



Having a speed/ stealth alternative to power armor would be fun


Mod schematics could be acquired through quests as rewards


Mods would

like greatly improved sneak,sneak speed,run speed,sprint speed,augmented jumping,and maybe a dash ability for legs


Sneak attack damage , enemy marking , weak point detection,night vision, and water breathing for head


Arms would have faster melee attack speed, increased melee damage,increased unarmed/martial arts? ,faster reloading,vats accuracy increase, recoil control,and decreased vats cost, grapple hook?


Torso would have Chem injector, silenced jetpack? , inbuilt stealth boy , improved sneak, decreased action point cost for sprinting, additional armor


One aspect to add would be armor model types instead of models I would think about a ballistic weave like the railroad has


Material mods might just be shadowed , faction paint, and maybe some kind of fiber perk that has a muffled effect


Maybe a cosmetic option to change helmet and such

This is kind of my ultimate wish for fallout 4 I would love to see it happen, if someone knows wherever the [censored] it is that Bethesda takes suggestions please post this idea there

Sure, why not? I miss the various armor sets from FO 3 & NV. I wish the Recon Armor was in FO 4, but hopefully we will see these return in the upcoming dlcs.

I stopped using it on replays of Old World Blues, it always made me addicted to med-x and would always blather on about the pipboy light being on. Even when I had the perk that added +15 to sneak with the light on. Though I'm all for being able to customize armor, and improve it.

Remember those hot summer days sipping lemonade by the porch? Remember swimming in the local watering whole by the house? Remember that drifter you ran over him with your car?.....well...pepperidge farm remembers..

That stealth suit is cool but it's a bit heavy with less DR or DT than some of the other medium armors. Not sure if it's worth it
