Remember those pre-release excuses? LOL.

Oh i remember the days where many fanboys onj this forum would defend crytek 24/7 when the leak/demos were released.

Lets recap on some of the 'excuses/reasons' these fan boys had for why the game did not look/perform very well in the demo or beta. (i think that fanboy silent phenomed gave each and every one of these excuses at one point or another. I know for a fact he kept saying release would have higher graphics settings etc. what a clown).

"The demo was a last minute thing they gave to us since we complained, so it is obviously a port from the 360 demo! Thats why it looks like crap and plays like a console game!"
- well looks like this definitely wasnt the case. What we got for the demo WAS straight from the PC version, since there is zero difference between the pc demo and the pc retail, especially since all of that press start/tv brightness stuff was changed in a day 1 patch.

"The reason why extreme doesnt look different is because the demo/beta doesnt have the high-res textures to minimize the demo download size!"
- LOL. Enough said.

"The retail version will have a higher graphics option than extreme!"
- ya right.

"They dont want to show us PC gameplay or include high res textures in the PC demo because the consolers will get mad and not buy the game!"
- No high res textures, only a few differences from console version to PC (some lighting, some AA, and less texture pop ins).

So hilarious. I know there were more, but i just cant remember them all of the top of my head. Good times. I love being right.

edit: Oh ya, whats even more awesome, is now that the release is out, and is the same as the demo, these same fan boys are saying "Wow the game looks great! Super optimized!".
